"Did you get it to her?" I asked Taylor as soon as he returned to the office.
It wasn't his only task, of course, but it was the only one that mattered to me.
"Of course, boss," he chuckled. "And a good thing too, because by the looks of it, the Madam had no plans of getting off her desk to eat."
"That deep in work?" I hummed.
"Yeah, Mr. Durfort really should get someone to help her," Taylor said as he handed me a stack of documents to review and sign. "I imagine our rich kid classmates in school having a heart attack when they hear the future CEO of Durfort Inc. Has no staff and has to do all the grunt work herself."
"She doesn't have to, she chooses to," I said with a shrug as I reviewed the documents. "But Lex will have his girlfriend help her soon."
"She really is different," Taylor hummed.
