"To further strengthen my 3 techniques within these four years will be hard", Jade pondered whilst watching tv. He thought of two ways to improve his barren which freezes opponents up to 3 seconds and time domain,one way is by forcefully running out of aura as continuously using strengthens his aura thereby prolonging his usage of his skills.

The other way which is just as tiring is to further dive into the concept of time and it's properties, "sigh this gonna be difficult but I should be able to complete it within these 4 years. "When dad comes back imma give him a big surprise" Jade said as he chuckled walking towards the garden.

4 years have passed and Jade is now 10 years old. "Huff huff, I finally was able to improve barren now I can freeze my opponents for 9 seconds and my time domain can be held for a whole hour!". With Jade making this huge leap in strength his aura reserves have increased and he now has more than the average hunter.

"I can predict 4 seconds ahead of my opponents attack with my improved time domain", "Jade!" His mom called "yes mom I'm coming" Jade ran back in to house, Lisa also came running whilst saying to her mom Eva "mom when's dad coming back it's been 4 years now".

"Don't worry honey his gonna be back soon now both of you eat up", whilst they were all eating a knock came at the front door which startled them and Eva got up and opened the door, there stood a man 6'6 in height and with a neat suit on "you must be Nolan's wife I presume?" He said "yes where's my husband" Eva questioned while getting an ominous feeling.

"I'm afraid whilst Nolan and his team was on a mission an unexpected situation occurred with the HQ and Nolan's squad losing contact" he said without beating around the bush, "as of right now we do not know if they are alive or dead ma'am". "Huh? That can't be" Eva's knees grew weak and collapsed "mom!" Jade came running as he heard the conversation and knew his father was in a dire situation.

"Well ma'am if you need anything please contact us at the HQ we have a branch in Yorknew city", even thought the man in the suit felt sympathetic towards Eva and the children it was part of his job and he has long become accustomed to it. As he walked back into the car Jade came running after him "sir please can you tell me where my dad went missing?".

"Kid I'm afraid it's confidential, but if you wanna know you must first become a hunter then perhaps you might have the opportunity to know" the man kept some of what he was gonna say to himself "Even then you wouldn't be qualified to know unless your strong I'm sorry kid" the man thought "but with this at least his got hope" the man then shook his head as he drove off.

Jade watched with clenched fists as the car disappeared into the sunset and swore he would find his dad.

1 year and 11 months have passed.

Jade is now 12 years old, 5'4 in height and had shoulder length hair that was loose and wavy he had a lean build and vibrant atmosphere around him. "Mom I'm twelve and now as promised I'd like to apply for the Hunter exam" Jade said whilst sitting at the kitchen table "sigh ok but honey remember to always be safe ok and I'm not gonna let you go without you sister" Eva said having a defeated look across her face.

"Hehehe Jade since your only 12 you must rely on me your competent sister" Lisa said with a victory smile as she knew jade wanted to go alone. "Hmph you're lucky that you're 18 Lisa" Jade said with an irritated face.

"But anyways mum since it's already November 28 I got to get going mum before the deadline in December" Jade said "I know why don't we apply for it tomorrow then and you can go in two weeks arriving by the 22" Eva suggested and Jade agreed.

The next morning jade and Eva woke up early and applied for the Hunter exam *thank you for you're application* it read on the computer Jade was jumping around after his successful application. Two weeks passed and it was time for Jade and Lisa to leave as their flight was taken off in 3 hours, "bye make sure to take care of each other" Eva said with tears in her eyes as she gave them both a kiss on the forehead.

Jade and Lisa got to the airport and boarded their flight after a 2 hour wait, "it's gonna take 7 hour flight to reach our destination" Jade said with a blind fold over his eyes as he went for a quick nap, time flew by and the plane landed, Jade and Lisa went through a security check an a few minutes later they was out and in a taxi.

Lisa checked her phone and it was 11:32, "Jade let's get some thing to eat quickly" she grabbed his hands and walked to a nearby restaurant and they ate after lunch Lisa booked a nearby hotel called prism hotel. A week an 3 days pass it's January 1st. "I got to get to the captains ship in 2 days.

2 days pass Jade and Lisa walk towards the port where they see a lot of candidates already "sis will you be taking the exam with me?" Jade asked with his eyebrows raised "no no no, haha I don't like fighting anyways I want to be a scientist" Lisa said with a proud look, "ok that works for me" Jade said with his hands tucked into his side pockets.

"Just make sure you stay safe ok Jade" Lisa said worriedly "don't worry no one here can hurt your mighty brother" Jade chuckled with a nonchalant look, but as he said that a few candidates heard that and gave him a weird an mocking look since he was too full of himself.

As he was getting weird looks from the other candidates a kid with spiky hair and green clothes came and also boarded the ship.

"Everyone listen up I am the captain that will be taking you unworthy lots to whale island and be civil whilst you are aboard" a man that was the captain was a fairly elderly man short and stocky, he had a beard that extended down and around his face with and intergrated mustache, his nose is red and his attire consisted of a sea captain's hat adorned with a whale emblem, a jacket covering a V-neck top with a belt, trousers, and black rubber boots.

While they was on the journey the kid with spiky hair greeted a young man with blonde hair and another man that seemed to look like he was in his early 30s with glasses. Jade was sitting at a corner of the ship with a book reading whilst the wind hit his face, "ahhh this is the life I'm enjoying the breeze" Jade said with a light laugh, the journey continued until they came across a storm.

"Hahahaha you incompetent candidates let's see how you'll stay aboard with this storm" the captain laughed.
