Chapter 168 : Planned Reinforcements!!

They nodded at Kurapika.

At first, Kurapika was surprised and confused, but he soon realized that, just like Hisoka's sudden appearance, this was another backup plan from Germain.

Germain believed in the theory that "the higher the risk, the greater the return," but he always tried to control the risks and prevent any major disasters.

Their appearance was the answer from Germain.

Sub walked toward the other end of the carriage, intending to block the door and prevent anyone from escaping to other carriages or out of the train.

After blowing up three carriages in a row, he was now familiar with the process.

As he casually approached the main door, he noticed a blond young man with blood on his face squatting under a nearby chair.

The "chain" in his hand was flying low to the ground.

"What?"

Sub was surprised, but before he could react, the "middle finger chain" tightly wrapped around his right leg. With a sudden force, he was pulled violently and fell to the ground.

"Damn it!"

Realizing that the young man was an enemy, Sub quickly turned his gun and aimed it at him.

As Sub hit the ground, Kurapika rushed over and grabbed the gun with both hands!

Bang!

The bullet hit the car window, shattering the glass and causing everyone to scream again.

Sub certainly wasn't willing to let go, so the two fought over the pistol in the corridor.

Genthru and Bara were both surprised. They looked over and saw Sub's pistol thrown aside, landing on the ground.

The blond young man was using a "chain" to tightly wrap around Sub's neck from behind, coiling it several times.

Sub struggled desperately, his face turning red.

"Let him go!"

Bara shouted, quickly walking over while raising his pistol.

Kurapika cleverly used Sub as a shield, hiding his vital points behind him the whole time.

"Let him go! You little brat! Let him go!" Bara shouted.

But Kurapika wouldn't listen. He tightened his chains even more, trying to strangle Sabu.

Bara felt anxious. "There's nothing we can do. We can only shoot his hands and feet... but the target is too small. We might accidentally hit Sub. What should we do?"

"It looks like I need Genthru to help. We can attack from both sides..."

As he hesitated, he suddenly heard Genthru shouting from behind.

"Bara! Behind you!"

Bara rarely heard Genthru shout like that. He turned in surprise and saw a strange flat-headed creature.

It had two large bulging eyes, a big mouth with a curled pink tongue, and countless sharp teeth.

Before Bara could react, the creature swung its head and smashed it into Bara's head, killing him instantly.

Shizuku, holding the "Blinky," adjusted her glasses and looked at Kurapika.

Kurapika gritted his teeth and pushed through to the end, finally strangling Sub, who was rolling his eyes, until he died. Then he loosened his grip, sweating profusely, and let Sub drop to the ground.

Genthru watched in shock and anger as his two companions died. He had feelings for Sub and Bara—a brotherly bond unique to their gang.

But more importantly, their deaths meant he could no longer control the bomb from a distance to amplify its explosion.

He could still use the "Sound of Life" to trigger the bomb, but he couldn't move too far away until the countdown was done.

This meant if the bomb under his control was detonated here, the explosion would also take him with it.

But if it didn't explode, the "Sound of Life" he set up earlier would be useless.

"Damn it, I actually let them kill Sub and Bara. As long as they are here, I can ignore the 'Vows and Limitations' at this distance..."

Genthru gritted his teeth but didn't completely give up the fight.

He also had a second Nen Ability called "Little Flower," which can explode instantly upon touching another person's body.

However, its explosive power is much weaker than that of "Sound of Life," especially since "Sound of Life" has been enhanced by Sub and Bara's Nen abilities.

"One of these two is holding a chain, and the other has a strange vacuum cleaner. The one with the chain can attack from a distance, while the vacuum cleaner is for close combat. In this case, I should target the woman first."

"As long as I touch her, I can detonate her using 'Little Flower' and then figure out how to deal with the guy with the chain..."

After a quick thought, Genthru bent down slightly and rushed towards Shizuku like a dive.

"First, dodge her initial attack!"

Shizuku stood still, her expression unchanged, holding the "Blinky" at an angle, as if she planned to swing it at Genthru.

"Idiot, this obvious attack is too simple... No, it's actually too simple! Something feels off!"

Genthru suddenly sensed something was wrong. He tried to stop, but then he heard the sound of wind rushing through the air.

"Why aren't you running away?!"

Before Genthru could move, he was hit hard on the side of his face. His glasses shattered instantly, and his face caved in!

"Hmm—" Genthru let out a muffled groan.

"High-speed straight ball!"

Bisky, who was hiding in the carriage, suddenly transformed from a girl into a powerful figure. With a strong right fist, she punched Genthru away!

Genthru flew through the air like a ball, heading toward Shizuku.

Shizuku remained serious and calm. She turned around and swung the "Blinky," striking Genthru as he came flying at him. With a loud crash, Genthru was knocked sideways, shattering the glass next to him and flying out of the train.

Genthru, already beaten up and bloody, couldn't move at all. As he fell, he felt like he was in a never-ending drop.

The wind rushed past his ears, and he realized he was indeed falling.

He had fallen off a cliff and was about to be smashed to pieces, with no escape in sight.

From a distance, Bisky covered her forehead with her left hand and watched for a moment before giving Shizuku a thumbs up.

"Nice home run," she said.

Shizuku adjusted his glasses and smiled faintly.

As Bisky, Shizuku, and Kurapika worked together to take down the three gangsters with guns one by one, the passengers in the carriage breathed a sigh of relief and cheered.

"Stop shouting! Stop shouting!" Bisky waved at everyone. She wasn't fond of being seen in her current state, but there was no time to worry about that. "Get off the train quickly! Don't stay here any longer."
