Chapter: The Next Bout

The Apocrypha royals were dead. After 30 minutes of torture, Apollo and Artemis had located their brains. Both Hera's and Zeus' brains now lied within their possession. Their deaths marked the dawn of a new age.

"Mother can finally be put to rest, brother..." Muttered Artemis.

"Yes... We have carried out a part of her wish, Artemis."

"Will you stop utilizing everyone around you as tools now? I miss the caring brother that I used to have. I'm sure mother would not wish for you to remain like this any longer either..."

Apollo then gave a slightly nostalgic smile. Their mother was the one who had instructed him to treat others like tools until he had accomplished his goal. Now that he had finished a major task, it would make sense for him to return to his normal optimistic self.

"Artemis... You do know that I was the one that created this entire plan, do you not?"

"Of course, I am... But what does that have to do with anything?"
