Forbidden Forest
Arthur was lying flat on the back of the unicorn and speeding through the tall trees. While Arthur would communicate with the unicorn and learn some things.
It turned out that the unicorn who was killed half a month ago was this little unicorn's mother.
A few days after her mother's disappearance, the little unicorn who saw her mother hadn't returned, she leaved the unicorn tribe in the Forbidden Forest every day to search for her.
But there was no progress.
Today, she came out to search as usual, but encountered a black-robed man who attacked her and drank her blood.
Arthur knew that the person was Professor Quirrell.
He comforted the unicorn by patting its head and spoke gently, "From now on, you can follow me. I am your family."
The little unicorn affectionately rubbed against Arthur, expressing her feelings.
Seeing such a smart little unicorn who lost its mother because of Professor Quirrell, a rare anger grew in Arthur's heart.
Originally, it was between Harry and Voldemort, but Arthur felt that this fight had now become his own.
Suddenly, Arthur felt a sense of danger and instinctively released a curse.
"Protego!"
A green curse hit the shield charm, causing ripples.
The unicorn stopped running and looked around cautiously, always stomping the ground with its feet, ready to attack at any time.
Arthur calmed down the little unicorn and got off its back.
"Lumos Solem!"
Arthur's wand radiated a dazzling light, brightening the surroundings like daylight.
This is the ancient magical version of the Wand-Lighting Charms, which is much more powerful than the modern version.
With this burst of light, Arthur easily found the black-robed person hiding in the darkness.
Arthur flicked his wand lightly towards the black-robed person without hesitation, and a stunning spell was thrown.
The black-robed person didn't dare to be careless and rolled to the side, avoiding the spell.
"You little brat, you've angered me!" An angry voice came from under the hood, and Professor Quirell didn't know what spell it was, but darkness swallowed everything under the hat, making it impossible to see anything.
Without any movement, a spell came out of his mouth.
"Serpensortia"
A two-foot-long python, as thick as a small tree trunk, slipped out of his wand.
Arthur didn't dare to be careless. This was his first life-and-death duel with a wizard, and his entire body was nervous.
As his wand lighted, two large trees beside him came into life, their trunks becoming bodies and their branches and roots being limbs.
Professor Quirell was surprised at this young wizard's advanced skill in transfiguration, but he didn't hesitate with his next move.
"Avada Kedavra!"
A spell of the same color as before shot toward Arthur.
Arthur was not panicked and with a move of his wand, he sent the killing curse flying to the side, creating a large hole in the ground.
Professor Quirell did not expect this little wizard to be so hard to deal with. He hesitated for a moment, wondering whether to leave or get rid of him.
"Idiot! Even a first-year wizard can't handle him. Leave your body to me!" Voldemort's dissatisfied voice echoed in Professor Quirell's mind.
Professor Quirell dared not resist and could only weakly say, "Master, please be gentle," and then surrendered control of his body.
In an instant, Arthur sensed that the wizard on the other side had suddenly changed, becoming even more threatening and evil.
Arthur quickly cast several armor spells on himself and told the little unicorn to stay away.
"Kid, you have good skills, but it's a pity that you're going to die here today."
A hoarse voice sounded like the sound of chalk scraping on a blackboard, and Arthur got goosebumps all over his body.
Hearing the two different voices before and after, he knew that Voldemort had controlled the body.
Without saying a word, Voldemort cast the Killing Curse.
This time, it felt completely different from before, with a suffocating sense of pressure.
Arthur gripped his wand tightly and poured magic into it desperately.
"Impetum Patronum"
[This is made up]
A silver-white phoenix flew out of his wand and flew straight towards the Killing Curse.
"Chirp!"
Facing this extremely powerful Killing Curse, the phoenix did not flinch or dodge, but opened its mouth and swallowed it whole.
Then the phoenix shrank by a circle, but didn't lose any speed, strongly slamming into Professor Quirell's body.
"Boom!"
Professor Quirell's body violently flew back, breaking four or five trees before landing like a bunch of mud without moving.
Arthur didn't let him give a chance to get up and took advantage of the dust remaining in the air to cast another powerful spell.
"Confringo"
A burst of intense heat ignited, burning intensely where Professor Quirell lay still.
"Ah!"
A piercing scream came from Professor Quirell's mouth as the flames began to burn his clothes and his body.
"You damn bastard! I will not let you get away with this!"
After speaking, Professor Quirell's body turned into thick black smoke, breaking through the circle of flames and flying off into the distance.
Finally, Arthur could truly relax. The giant python next to him had already been beaten by the two trees he made.
He sat down heavily on the ground, panting heavily. Even though they had only exchanged a few spells, the danger was above what an ordinary person could imagine.
'Were Voldemort and Professor Quirrell both crazy? They had continuously cast the Killing Curse. Are they not afraid of damaging their soul or emotions and dominating their sanity and turning them into mindless killing machines?'
It's important to remember that this is the real world, and casting spells doesn't always work as it does in the movies.
Unforgivable curses like the Killing Curse develop a lot of harmful emotions and their souls, and even a trained wizard might take a while to recover from casting one.
Earlier, both Professor Quirrell and Voldemort cast the Killing Curse multiple times as if it were a regular spell.
At this moment, a young unicorn approached Arthur, looking at him with innocent concern. Arthur could see the intelligence in the creature's large, pure eyes.
As expected of a magical creature, its intelligence was not low as that of humans.
Arthur got up and patted the unicorn's head to show that he was okay. Then he turned to look at the flames and the trees being devoured by flames.
