Chapter 327 : Beast In The City 1

Orion took his merry time extracting info from those damn Vampies, not even knowing what was going on outside thanks to him, a city-wise search for John Wick by two witches and one beast-loving wizard.

Now that he was armed with the knowledge of where the vampire community was hiding, wasted no time. With just a thought, he teleported himself directly to the location. The place was dark, hidden deep within an cave on the outskirts of the country, exactly the place someone those blood suckers to stay. 'Not doubt it, this is it, nothing smell this horrible than boy's locker room' The stench of old blood and decay filled the air as he stepped inside.

His eyes scanned the surroundings, and immediately, the vampires sensed his presence while same was the case with him sensing those them.

"Ah, not wasting any time are we, good I was in the mood to throw down few punches before asked questions anyway." Orion smiled, not even bothered by dorzen or so Vampies coming at his way.

Dozens of them emerged from the shadows, hissing and baring their fangs.

Without hesitation, Orion raised his hand, and the air around him began to hum with energy. "You'll tell me what I want to know, Though its better if you resist a little as well, its been a long time I went on hunting" he said with a sweet smile but his voice cold.

The vampires, of course, didn't listen some wizards rambling's, for them he was just another unfortunate wizard stumbling into their layer, and now he was food for them.

They lunged at him, moving fast and with deadly intent. Orion smirked, feeling the rush of power surge through him. He unleashed a wave of energy, blasting several of the vampires back. They crashed into the walls, some disintegrating into dust from the sheer force.

Others tried to surround him, thinking they could overpower him with numbers. Orion, unfazed, used the Law of Matter to manipulate the ground beneath them. The concrete floor cracked and erupted, sending sharp spikes of stone into the air, impaling several of the vampires. Screams filled the cave as more fell, unable to stand against him while he made his way inside the cave.

One particularly bold vampire tried to leap at him from above, but Orion caught him mid-air with only his bare hands, sending him crashing through the ceiling with a well place upper hook.

"Ahhh... I need that so much."

No one would say that Orion was on a deadly mission, it was basically fun to him.

Though still not completely at his full magical power but it was more than enough to handle pretty much anyone this times has to offer.

As the last of the vampires fell, Orion looked around at the carnage he had created. Dust and ash filled the air where the vampires once stood.

"I should have left few for questions...good thing there are still few more inside." Orion looked a little embarrassed and now stopped rampaging like a mindless monster and quietly entered deep inside the cave to talk with those Vampires.

"Where is that Ancient One of yours... tell him I have come to bargain..."

After hours of searching the city for the mysterious man known as John Wick, Newt, Elenora, and Tina realized it was a lost cause. They couldn't find him anywhere, and it seemed like he wasn't planning on showing up anytime soon. Elenora still clung tightly to the briefcase, knowing she needed it to get hers back. Newt, frustrated but patient, suggested they wait for him to contact them instead.

Tina invited them both to her place. "We might as well relax for now. My sister can make us something to eat," she offered. Newt and Elenora agreed, and they headed to Tina's apartment.

At the apartment, Tina's lively sister, Queenie, welcomed them warmly. She cooked up a delicious meal, and for a while, they all sat together, enjoying the food and conversation. Even though there was tension between Elenora and Newt over the briefcase, Queenie's charm and the comforting atmosphere helped them forget their troubles for a little while.

But the peace didn't last long.

Suddenly, outside the window, the sky darkened. Loud crashes echoed through the city streets, followed by the unmistakable sounds of destruction. Tina, Newt, and Elenora rushed to the window to see what was happening. Buildings were crumbling, and streets were in chaos as an ominous dark cloud swirled violently, tearing through the city.

Newt's eyes widened. "It's an Obscurus," he muttered as he has seen one for himself and knew how they look like and what they are capable of, there was a rumor that there was a monster in the city but not even in his wildest imagination he could have thought that it was a Obscurus, and a powerful one at that. This Obscurus was so powerful that even many Auror's might have hard time fighting it.

Credence on the other hand, under immense pressure from Grindelwald, had lost control and transformed into his Obscurus form, much earlier than expected. He was rampaging through New York, and the Aurors were trying — and failing — to contain him.

Especially when not even knowing what was going on here. Whether it was cause by a magical beast, or another witch or wizard like Grindlewald.

He had no knowledge of what was going on and thus the only thing they could do was to try to hold on.

"We need to go," Tina said urgently, her inner Auror acting up even though she wasn't one anymore.

Elenora had nothing to do with this and didn't wanted to got involve, her magic was weak so she was no help in this situation anyway.

And last Newt, well him being him... of course he will go and take a look.

The two of them ran out of the apartment and into the streets, where chaos had erupted. The city was in ruins, and Credence, in his Obscurus form, was leaving a trail of devastation in his wake.

While this was happening, Grindlewald in his Percival Graves disguised was observing everything.

Even for him it was hard to track the movement of the Obscurus, let alone figure out who it was in the first place.

This was his only chance and he didn't wanted to lose it.
