Chapter 312 : Time Heist 2

Finally, it was time to get going, Orion long told Dumbledore that he would be leaving Hogwarts. To his surprise, Dumbledore didn't stop him, maybe because he couldn't stop him. However, he did ask to stay in Hogwarts even if he didn't plan to be a student here. Going as far as giving him a Professor's position.

Maybe he thought that Orion was leaving because there was nothing for him to learn in the castle, which was true but still not the real reason. Orion didn't bother explaining.

'I just need a little time to rest and train. You know what can happen when I don't have control over my magic right. I need time to make sure something like what happened in the tournament never happens again.' That was Orion's response to Dumbledore.

The old man was still hesitant to let Orion go… maybe before he was afraid that he might do something troublesome, at this point at least Dumbledore believed that he wasn't bad, though he wreaked havoc anywhere he went. But maybe he just didn't want to let a child who bore his name go away from him just like that.

Honestly, Orion had no idea what the old man was thinking, but it doesn't care because in the end going back in time is not an option but a Necessacity.

"So are you ready to move on ?" Eric breathed in as he asked this. He was now no longer in his run-down manner, Orion brought him back to the time chamber where he was planning to open a time portal for him to go back in time.

Apparently, it has been some time since Eric has been dead. So unlike what he was expecting few decades won't cut it, he has to travel almost a century to find his live version.

Sigh.

This also means that he has to use a significant amount of magic to go back, plus the fact that he has zero experience at Law of Time, he was already feeling that it ain't gonna work.

"How do you plan to do that again. Go back in time that is ?" Asked Eric as he was kind of enjoying the feeling of going outside of the Manor and breathing in the fresh air, the only problem is that he can't breathe, he is a fucking Painting.

That is why Orion has no idea what the bastard was pretending that he was in a garden inhaling fresh air.

It was annoying and distracting seeing him doing that as to why he was banging his head against the complicated Magic in the grave inside the chamber.

"I learned Runes a long time ago, at that time I felt strange how Merlin taught me all the high-end stuff while I was only 11, but now I am happy that he did, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to do this…." Orion reply to which Eric just scoff. Still not believing that Merlin taught him.

"And what is 'this' exactly ?" Eric asked further irritating Orion.

"This…" Orion replied as he snapped his finger and the magical array which he worked on for a few days finally came to life, opening a portal.

"Woah, you really did it. Are you sure that really a Time Portal and not just another portal of yours?" Eric asked further irritating Orion. For some reason, he felt that he was arguing with Merlin again. Why are all old men like this?

He was about to retort but then suddenly something crossed his mind.

Blink…

'I never said to him that I can open Portals ?…'

Orion all but paused in his place, but then seeing that how the man knew that he had mastered the Law of Space, he just chucked this to the man knowing what a person who mastered a Law is fully capable of.

He was no Merlin but he still was his student. He is pretty knowledgeable.

He shook his head and looked back to the portal he created. He was indeed not like any portal he could create. It took way too much magic to open this time portal.

And that is only for opening. Passing through this portal will take the majority of his magic. His condition gonna be the same to worse as what happened when he first time went to the Fate world.

He can only hope that he can regain his magic fast enough, after going back.

'I am even surprised that the chamber was created in a way that time travel was possible through it, what was Merlin thinking when creating this thing. Was he creating a Time Machine and just ended up creating a time chamber by mistake?

Almost all the things needed to create a Time Machine were in there. All the magical programming was already done, I just had to put a few things in the right place to use it.' Orion thought and this was further making him nervous.

This coincidence was way too obvious when he thought about it. Feeling like someone behind the situation is pulling the string. Like he or she knew that he would go back in time.

Can't help it, Orion again glanced at Eric a little further from him, still acting like he was in a garden. Something is not right, I can feel it in my bones. But this is also indeed correct that he right now have no other option but to follow up with what he is doing right now. That was the only way to bring Merlin back, have enough time to get ready for what was about to come and last if possible get that holy power which both Merlin and Eric pray to even after their death.

Apparently, that is the only power which can really end Death for good. So having that right now would surely be helpful.

Orion thought and in the next second, he entered the portal after taking a deep breath.

"No Risk It, No Biscuit." Orion said to himself and rushed in.

Only when Orion was gone that Eric stop his acting and finally say this.

"Sigh, sorry kid, but to have time go like it is supposed to, you have to go through this…hope that you are not to broken in the end…"
