Chapter 194 : A Talk With The Old Man

[So I believe that this is the right time to ask, what the fuck happened] Merlin asked with exclamation.

Orion who was currently sitting at the top of the roof in one of the Hogwarts castle peaks, couldn't say anything but just sigh. 

"Well, I might ask the same of you as well, can't I? I might have acted more drastic but the strange reaction of yours wasn't much worse than mine," Orion remarked with a side-eye.

Merlin hearing this was stunned, he didn't expect Orion actually saw him back then. 

[Well then I guess both of us need to talk. I guess this has been a long time coming anyway] Merlin too sighed and said he found the situation very troublesome.

This situation happens after Orion helps the professors to repair the castle wall and makes sure that everyone else is safe. 

Of course that leads to much nagging by the likes of McGonagall and Snape but at the same time Orion too saw a little hesitance in the eyes of the Professors. 

After all, by just the power Orion saw, it was clear to all of them that if Orion go wild right now then none of them will be able to stop him. Accessive scolding could definitely lead to that. 

From now on Orion D Ambrosius is no longer a normal student, if earlier he was someone who had a great mind and a resounding name, then the current Orion also had to strength to back up his position among the strongest. 

Right now they just can't afford to bring any kind of dissatisfaction from Orion towards them. Even Dumbledore wasn't in the castle. 

But that Hesitation went out of the window when Orion didn't protest at all and took all the scolding and punishment like a champ.

Well more like a kid holding his head down while the adult scolds him. 

This to some degree increases his punishment, to the utter fury of Orion. But at the same time, this also reduces the vigilance of the professors towards him. 

Ultimately his persona of a Troublemaker Genius Kid turn into a Powerful Dangerous Kid and not into the upcoming dark lord to his relief. 

"Well adult's first, go on." Orion immediately said.

[Nah ah, you speak first. I have a feeling that I know what you want to talk about and if that is the case then it will make much more sense if you go first.] Merlin said with a knowing look on his face. 

Its quite rare for the old man to not be in his chibi form, flying around Orion while puffing on his pipe, but right he was in his full form and sitting beside Orion. 

Orion couldn't sense bullshit coming from the old man at this time so he took just agree with a sigh.

"Fine...

3 years ago or like half a year ago, whatever you want to consider when I fight with Nick. Just after I was blasted by that cursed wand, I lost my consciousness for a few seconds. 

I believe it wasn't long enough for others to notice but I did. It might be only 5 seconds at best but in that 5 seconds were like hell. 

Under that 5 seconds or so I came across the same entity which you saw the Boggart turn into today. 

But unlike today, the feeling of this oppression which I got was way too weak. Like the effect wasn't working on me that much. 

And I just woke up and kept fighting. Even back then I was fully intent to kill Nick, and if not for Hermione then he would have already been dead.

But the real trouble started after that. After that, you know that I fell into unconsciousness.

It might be around 10 to 15 days, but that time was hell for me. 

I don't know how, but I was thrown into this dark place with nothing but darkness around. 

For all that time I was just wandering around. Well, the wandering part didn't last long as that entity, spotted me soon enough. 

What followed was be running away from the darkness as much as possible while the Grim Reaper trying to catch me.

I was even caught a few times. But he just couldn't touch me, his own hand got burned when he touched me. But before even I get confident about this and punch him. Suddenly I felt pain in my left hand. 

I saw him grab me from my left hand. That was the only place where the damn Reaper was able to touch me. 

Though there was much to the story, a lot of struggle, cursing, punching and more cursing and everything included with fear. 

I was somehow was able to get out of there. 

When I woke up, everything felt like a dream." Orion said with a comtemplated face.

Hearing only this much Merlin's eyes were shot up. 

[What... you never said anything to me about this. Why?] Merlin asked.

"Well, even I had trouble believing that was not a dream. Hell, even now I can't say for sure. For all if know that darn Boggart just saw the picture of that dream in my mind and turn into what I fear. 

Man, I should have left open my mind shield for him to see though. That wasn't a good idea," Orion just whined at his own stupid action.

[...] Merlin didn't say anything, there were many things which Merlin wanted to say but he just kept quiet. He will be talking soon enough anyway.

[Anything more ?] Merlin asked.

"Hmm let me think.

After that incident, there were some times when I had the same dream but this time I can say for sure that they were really dreams. 

I personally believe that It was just my fear that what happened to me back then was replaying in my head.

Today the Boggart only look the Grim Reaper but the feeling wasn't the same. In fact, I should say that the feeling was completely different. 

While the pressure was there it was just that pressure. Anyone with good power and exert pressure to others. But that Grim Reaper's pressure had this daming feeling in it.

Like whatever touching, its ..."

[Destroyes] Merlin before Orion says anything completes the sentence for him. 

"Yeah," Orion nodded.

"That was the reason why I wanted to fix the hand so quirk. I knew that is the only thing which the guy could target in me. And thus the first thing I did was to fix it. 

And now although the hand can't do magic it's been fully purified. 

And when I thought that from now on I will kick that guy's ass, I realize that from then on the damn Reaper never show up. " Orion just whined and completed what he wanted to say.

Merlin hearing this just sighed. 

Again there was so much to say, in fact, he was cursing himself for not thinking about this. 

He knew that now its time to fully explain what going on to Orion. Orion was almost dragged into the darkness just because he didn't had knowledge about what was going on. 

He needs to know. So Merlin sigh and got ready. 

[I will destroy as I speak. Do you know what that means ?] Merlin asks with a solemn face.
