As I thought the exam results showed my first A's in Potions and History, but since my electives all had a O, my parents didn't say anything and saw it at the increased number of subjects.
I didn't know Nymphs plot grades, but she could become a auror if she wants. A certain goodbye by a guy who accepted a job in Romania left her sad in her room for a week, but maybe after his qualification he comes back.
Our two uncles were a pair of jitterbugs, as Harry would start his first schoolyear. After they came up with a plan to camp at the Leaking Cauldron,
I reminded them he would receive his letter at his birthday so he would come to Diagon Alley in the following days. Maybe I shouldn't have reminded them that he has his birthday, because now they searched for the perfect gift. I saw it as a better way to use their time so I ignored them thereafter. Well I would, but I want to meet him too.
As such we three spend the night of Harry's birthday in two rooms in the pub that I the entry to Diagon Alley.

1st August 1991
We had breakfast downstairs and after that we waited. But not here as I knew Hagrid would take out the stone from Gringotts.
I didn't want any other ending here by delaying him, so we waited at the shop we knew he would come to afterwards. Ollivanders.
As I was already here I let him check my wand for any issues and got a new maintenance city for it.
-
At around 11am.
Then he stood there. My first thought was to protect him, as he looked like a mistreated animal. Malnourished, abused and emotionally unstable.
Dumbledore had great luck he didn't become an obscurus and again I didn't thought he would choose this option with his own backstory. But that is something I should tell him to his face.
Sirius was happy and shocked, but Remus calmed him down enough, so he didn't hug his godson, who didn't knew any of us.
Harry felt something was of, so I tried to deescalate the situation before something happened.
"Hello Hagrid.", I greet him
"Nicholas good to see you. What are you doing here?"
"Well it is known the first visit here should be accompanied by family, so we waited on you and Harry here. Well to be honest, we didn't know who would accompany him, but you'll get the idea.", I explain.
"Ah got you. Sirius, Remus, nice se'ng you two 'ere."
"Well maybe we should find a quiet place to explain the situation to Harry."
"Seems so.", he acknowledges.
-
We got to the second floor of a nice cafe that Sirius booked beforehand.
"So Harry let's start by introducing ourselves. My name is Nicholas Tonks, but you can call me Nici. This quiet guy to my left is Remus Lupin a good friend of your parents. The nervous guy Iron my other side is Sirius Black another friend of the family and your godfather. I am his nephew."
"Hello.", Harry answers after looking at us like a startled deer.
"We know we didn't meet you before, but Dumbledore wouldn't tell us where you are and by looking at your state, I wouldn't say it was a good environment.", Remus tries to talk calmly to him and I got a hand above Sirius lips before some words he shouldn't say before the kid can come out between them.
"You can't talk about Dumbledore like that.", Hagrid says angrily.
"Then as the person who got him from the place, can you say if it was good, Hagrid?", I ask.
"He would have his reasons.", he now says meekly. You can't say the Dudley's were good people and I Hagrid couldn't say otherwise.
"Well anyhow. We or more to say the two of them would like to tell you something.", I say and gesturing to the two uncles on my sides.
"You don't have to agree..." "It was to give you an option..." "...so we wanted to ask..." "STOP. How the hell should he understand you when even I can't understand something from your chattering?", I interrupt their terrible speech.
Sirius let Remus explain as he was someone who could explain good. At least when he tries and talks alone.
"Well the two of us would like to invite you to live with us. But as that is a major step and we didn't know how you lived till now, we wanted to spend more time with you, so you could tell us if your ready..."
"So I don't need to live in the cupboard anymore?", he gets interrupted by Harry this time. That statement got a wide range of reactions from the present. Sirius looked like he wanted to tear up the place he was till now or Dumbledore as he got him there. Remus looked sad. If he made himself responsible for not caring after James and Lily's death or if it was something else, I couldn't say. Hagrid was perplexed and didn't know if Dumbledore had enough reasons to let the savior of the wizard world live in a cupboard. I myself knew his living conditions the best and just looked empathetic. As such I answered first: "No Harry, Sirius is a Lord and has a few houses. You would have one or two rooms for yourself."
"Or a whole house.", Sirius says before getting a slap on his head by Remus.
"Do you want a 11-year-old to live by himself. Think before you talk for once." "Sorry.", Sirius answered.
"Well how about we go shopping together and you get to know us better?", Remus had the first good suggestion.
"That would be great.", Harry answers happy and we could see him smile for the first time.
"Let's do that then.", Hagrid agrees.
"How about we buy a broom?", Sirius proposed.
"First-years can't have their own brooms. You know that.", Remus answers.
And with that we had a good afternoon.
As we broke up Sirius didn't want Harry to go back like all of us, but Hagrid couldn't go against Dumbledores arrangements.
So my uncles would need the permission of the guardian or become his legal guardians. That would take some paperwork, but Hagrid promised to reprimand them so Harry wouldn't be in danger till then and got enough food on his plate.
And with that I get back to my summer projects back home.
Mostly planning for the plot so nobody gets hurt. Animals included.
