HP: Lord Of Seven Sins

Stripped off of his original memories, a lone soul is stuffed into the body of Alex Jordan who was supposed to be dead in the original timeline. Not given any other option by the self-proclaimed angels, he follows their given instructions as they were the ones who stripped him off of his memories. He gave in to his fate and hoped that he would at least be working with them if he passed his test, but a person who called himself a transmigrator gave him some information about the so-called angels. Information that would change all his plans as he consumes or kills all the angels one-by-one and acquires the power of the seven deadly sins as he does so. Follow Alex in his Journey as he grows from being socially awkward and rude to a gentleman wizard for his friends and a soul eating demon for his enemies. UPDATE SCHEDULE : As of now, inconsistent. * The characters are OOC, which means they aren't an exact copy of the original. This story takes place in an AU and as much as I want to deny it, I made a few mistakes in the early chapters so you will find a plot hole (Nerfed Dumbledore at around chapter 50). I would love to fix my mistakes but doing so would change the whole plot. * As for the progression of the plot, Dumbledore will actively participate in the problems of Hogwarts due to the changed Mc makes. This starts from the end of first year at Hogwarts. Voldemort while extremely talented at magic is somewhat super dumb when it comes to tackling Harry so I'll keep him that way. * Alex, while having a decently strong "Combat ability" in the first two years, gets truly overpowered while in his third year at Hogwarts. [Read the auxiliary chapter for more info on Alex's abilities] . [Note: there will be two OCs, the MC and his best friend. There will be others too but they won't play a significant role in this fanfic. I appreciate constructive criticism and not some random bs. Lastly, I hope you all enjoy reading.]

Chapter 16

He then made a wooden plank appear out of nowhere and placed everything on it using the levitation charm before heading off to his dormitory.

No one was inside when he entered and he quickly put everything under his bed after he brought them all back to their original size. He wished he could keep them all small, but the time for with it all stayed small was inconsistent so he had no other choice.

"Finally, time for some nice lunch."

The herbology class went as per usual where Alex did the bare minimal amount of work to not get into trouble. He had noticed and made a list of the smartest people in his year from all the houses.

According to his observations, Hermione was the one from Gryffindor. Malfoy from Slytherin, Ernie Macmillan from Hufflepuff and Padma from Ravenclaw, of course that was excluding him.

Malfoy was extremely good at doing anything that was in the practical category and was decent in the theory aspect.

Alex simply walked out of the class with Aman as he didn't really care about Malfoy. At least not for a few more years.

He separated from Aman as he wanted to go to the library and the latter wanted to get some rest.

Time quickly passed in the library until he was forced to leave by the librarian. He simply borrowed the book and headed to the kitchen where he stockpiled a lot of meat and soup before going to the Ravenclaw common room.

He placed the large box of food on an empty table before heading off to his dormitory and soon, came back with some pieces of wood.

He placed a square plank of each side being half a meter on the table and began using charms on it as he read from a large piece of parchment which had an immense amount of spells and instructions written on it.

The spell casting went on for about Half an hour and finally stopped before cutting the plank evenly into two layers by using a normal utility spell.

He then conjured a sharp but small knife and started carving weird symbols on the bottom layer. This step took him almost an hour as he wasn't used to carving.

After he was done with carving, he stretched and looked around to see that there were almost no one in the common room apart from some fifth and seventh years.

'Finally, the runes are done… hopefully this will work out well.'

He then used another spell to reattach both the layers in a way that the side where the suns were carved would be sandwiched in the middle.

"The stage is done… now it's time for the players." He murmured and was about to pick up a new piece of wood when his stomach grumbled, loudly.

He shook his head in embarrassment as he could see the older students look at him from the corner of his eyes.

He cleared the table and had his food before continuing with his work. Another spell casting session started and this time, it took almost thirty minutes to finish one piece.

He was focused on his work for hours and stopped only when he felt a tap on his shoulder. He knew who it was but was in a disbelief as he realised how much time had passed.

Aman, who tapped his shoulder, sat on the opposite side of the table and had an expression that said, "What are you up to?"

Alex simply ignored him and continued to work on the piece that was on the table as he didn't want to make a single mistake. A few more minutes passed as Aman observed and Alex worked.

Alex placed the piece that he had just completed aside and looked at his friend.

"I made a… you can call it a game board. Yes yes, I know what you're going to ask. It's about the broom right?"

Aman nodded in response and Alex continued, "I only know the basic and intermediate spells but now I know that they aren't of much use now since I've already made one. I should learn a lot more to be able to make a broom that rivals the latest ones in the market currently.

While I did know that the amount of knowledge that I currently have isn't of much use to make a broom right now, I suddenly got an idea to make this. This game board is a product of all my knowledge, hard work and creativity. Also, I need money to buy more books so I have no choice but to do something. You get me?"

Aman simply nodded as he didn't understand half of the stuff he heard before heading to the great hall for breakfast with Alex.

*****

A few days passed normally for Harry while there was a huge storm brewing in the Ravenclaw common room for almost a week.

Ron walked over to him excitedly and placed a plain square plank on the table.

"Harry, I borrowed this from Fred and George. It's a duelling game where we control the puppets to fight. I thought it would be boring but it looked so much fun when I saw my brothers playing. Would you like to give it a try? I'll teach you everything that you need to know."

Harry nodded as he was interested. He always found games of the magical world quiet fascinating and after he experienced defeat against Ron every single time in wizarding chess, he hoped that he would be able to beat him in this one.

Ron took out two small cuboids and placed them on the board before he began explaining.

"We have to tap our wands on one of these things and then place the wand on this elevated part of the board." He said as he tapped the elevated border that was added by Alex to increase the smoothness of control and response.

The elevated border was made from stacking multiple thin stacks of wood filled with various runes and it basically fixed all the problems that Alex faced while he came up with the plan for the game board.
