Writing on one site (before contracted)

Now, of course, writing on one platform isn't bad, that is if you have a contract with that site. If you're contracted with that site, your story has a better chance of being promoted and you can earn money off of it. If your only posting to one without being contracted you're either a) extremely loyal; b) extremely stupid; c) extremely lazy/don't have enough time to transfer all the words to another site.

For me it's C, I'm not a full-time writer, (If I were then I would upload a lot more regularly) I have school and it keeps me predominantly busy, and when I'm not doing schoolwork or homework, I'm doing chores. That leaves me with an hour or two left of my free time and I use that to write Valerie's chapters and bits and pieces of other chapters.

Back to what you're here for, if you don't have enough time to post on more than one site, then that's fine but if you have time to post on more than one site then you should. Reasons being, you're more likely to get noticed if not on one site than the other, you're able to see which site works for you best, and you're able to see which site will get you the reader base that you want as quickly as you want.

I suppose since you're here on Webnovel then you want to gather a reader base fast because that's Webnovel's reputation. You can build a reader base fast on here, but I didn't know that when I started writing here. I started writing here because I'd been writing since I was 7 or 8 and I knew that you had to have the dedication to the book to write a book fully.

I'd been practicing and I thought this was a great opportunity to share my story with people. I was too shy to tell my friends about this and I still am, but this was the right decision to make.

I didn't know about Webnovel's enemy companies like Wattpad and the others, but I'm glad I found Webnovel first.

That's all for today, see you Monday!- Hopefully!

1.23k?! Wow, I didn’t realize that many people would be interested in this. The world works in odd ways, huh?
