After wandering around the Elven Capital, we saw a squad of soldier in expensive armor making me bit wary. I never thought this will be good since we meeting them right now, without resting. With a polite tone, I asked them,

"How can I help you?"

The soldier that led them here staring straight into my eyes, his mouth open,

"Her majesty, Queen Charlotte Greenjade I, invited you to meet her right now. Please follow me."

Hearing the soldier, I was frowning because I don't see the case where we need to meet the ruler of this empire. Yes, empire which is bigger than kingdom because it was the most rich and high-end technology in Elf Civilization.

Turning my head to people behind me, I asked the the squad leader,

"How about them?"

" They will meet her majesty too, I presume."

The soldier replied coolly, as if expected my arrival. When I heard his tone, I started to wonder, I didn't know them. Moreover, I've been living in Forest of Gaia for all I lived in this world. it's even take 3 days of journey before passed through border between that forest and Elven Civilization.

I nodded understanding before followed her. Because of resting for a long time, Rena could walk albeit slower than normal. But the way this soldier moved, I believe tardiness is not a gonna be good for us. I went close to Rena who was protesting,

I countered her protest before proceeding to carry her on my back before beckoned others to follow me. After Noble human girl Denna left with a few follower, they people who followed me dwindled. But these people who followed me right now probably homeless or intending to follow me but... Bruh, I don't want many people to follow me, it's a hassle to be honest!

While we walked toward the castle, we could see how harmonious and prosperous this capital. At a few moment I saw a few pair of son and mother, or daughter and father, or mix of them. This made me happy but this truly made me homesick.

The male elf scanned us before look at the soldier,

"Is big sis wanted to meet them?" [Harold]

"Indeed, Prince Harold Greenjade. Her majesty wanted to meet this wanderer personally." [Soldier]

The soldier spoke with polite tone explaining to her. Prince Harold glanced at us in surprised before chuckle. I was not please with how this is going personally, but I wouldn't make a mess when I don't know what's going on. As if understanding my mind.

"It seemed you're the person that my sister excited about." [Harold]

Pr-screw that, Harold just glance at me up and down. This guy is rude staring at me like that, I smiled faintly although my mind was cursing this bastard. Looks like I hate this bastard. He stared at my left arm until I interrupted him.

"Prince Harold? What's wrong?"

The soldier started to walked, continue leading me to throne room. This time I could see a lot of exquisite carving on the frame. Two soldier glanced at the soldier who leading us before opening the door.

Hearing the queen's voice, my mind went wild but I covered it with a fake calmness.

"It's just coincidence Your Majesty. This is because of few persuasion from some of the victim, this subject is not a pure heart person."

I replied to her praised with real fact. But it seemed to increase her expectation of me.

"Indeed, while you're no saint. I was quite happy to see you're man who know honesty and his own nature. Even with that I should repay your deed with something." [Charlotte]

"Sorry to be frank but my partner, need Flame flower so that she could neutralize the poison."

I said not minding the surprised expression on other side's soldier. Looks like my frank word is really causing them to panic. Yet the queen to adore me more, what's going on?

Facing my ignorance, the queen smiled faintly before nodded her head.

"That is easy, but it couldn't compare to how you defeated the demon. Rumor passed through my ear that you blowed up eradicating a few area in Earth element forest. Is it true?"

My face instantly went pale, with sweating started pouring out of my mind. I calmed down before look at the queen properly.

"Yes, my queen. It is as so, but at the moment it's a do or die moment."

Hearing my confirmation, she nodded satisfied. The opened her mouth,

"As of that, I'm thinking of asking you to be my soulmate." [Charlotte]

"Eh." [Me]

"Ah?" [majority of them]

"What?" [Rena]

At this moment the court was quieter than library.
