There are many questions that were bothering Mikael, but before he could ask the system, the door to his room was pushed open and the strange man a while ago appeared.
His blue eyes were striking and deep, like the mysterious deep sea. He was wearing servant clothes, but it was more fancy than the servants he saw outside.
Mikael looked at him confused, he shifted his eyes into the white cat and noticed that the man couldn't see him. He stared at the strange man again and pursed his lips.
He was Mikael now, and he doesn't know how to interact with this person!
The strange man spoke with indifference, "I thought the young master was going to sleep?" His tone was a bit menacing.
Vincent stared deeply at the young man's face. It's strange. He was still the same person, but the atmosphere he exudes is not actually disgusting. The arrogance and conceited countenance he usually wore was not intact at this moment.
Mikael is in the process of growing period, so he wasn't tall like Vincent. His body is slender and his skin was dazzlingly pale akin to snow, the white nightgown dropped down on his body, leaving only his bare feet.
Vincent looked at him solemnly. Why is this brat not responding? Had he lost his voice upon falling down on the horse?
Mikael turned his eyes to the invisible white cat and asked assistance silently. He doesn't know how to respond to this man. What if he acted differently? He recalls that body possession is common in this world, then wouldn't he be discovered? And what if he will be executed?
Invisible tears wanted to come out of his eyes. But it seems like the system was a good companion and suggested a method for him: "Host, we can't invade the past memories of Mikael as for the reason that it would be against the law of heaven, the past system who control this body held the memories, but I couldn't contract him right now. At most, we could only pretend that you lost your memory, since the original Mikael died after falling down the horse."
Amnesia? It was the best explanation of Mikael's weird behavior, but how certain it was that this method would work? But without the memories of Mikael, he doesn't know how to interact with this man.
He chuckled nervously and pinched his fingers to make his eyes red from pain. Sobbing: "I-I lost my memories. I don't know what to do."
Mikael is not a good actor, but because of his face, this flaw could be ignored and believed his nonsense. But Vincent had been with the young master's side for who knows long, and he understands this brat more than others.
Lost his memories? Isn't this kind of play again?
He sneered. Vincent had no idea whether to pretend to believe his lies or expose him immediately. But the pitiful Mikael even if he's acting was pleasing to the eyes.
He smiled mockingly, "Then, should I call the duke about this? Perhaps, the duke would call a healer from the temple to bring back the lost memories of the young master?"
Mikael's miserable facade broke, and he stared at the green-haired man dumbly. He couldn't stop complaining to the system, "System, he doesn't believe me! He actually mocked me!"
The white cat gritted its teeth on the side. He wanted to skin this dumb host and pretended that it was an accident, "Of course, everyone wouldn't believe you by seeing how terrible your acting was!"
Of course, he wasn't good at acting! Mikael wanted to shed tears. If he had known that acting was needed in this world, then he wouldn't refuse the acting club offered to him in the past.
But the past was in the past. In fact, this strange man seems to be his personal servant? The way he talks and act, he definitely knew everything about Mikael. Then isn't he digging his own grave by creating more weird behavior?
He chuckled nervously, "Of course, I'm kidding. But who do you think you are telling me to do things? Aren't you just a mere servant?"
The white cat's eyes widened. He stared unbelievably at this suicidal host and prayed that he won't be eliminated instantly by this plot character. Doesn't he know the quote about speaking less would make less mistake?
This is a gamble. Mikael had noticed that the servants were terrified of the original body, and he perceives that perhaps the original Mikael is this arrogant and rude like the young master he has seen on TV shows. He even lifted his eyes and furrowed his eyebrows to appeared fierce and exude an attitude like 'Don't mess with me.'
It seems like he was fortunate because after he said those words, the expression of this strange man turned ugly and gloomier. A dark glint flashed on Vincent's blue eyes, his hands clenched into fist, and it almost took all his might to control himself not to strangle this young man.
He played along, expecting that the young man had been blessed by the gods that he changed overnight. But the downgrading of servants and the insult made him looked ridiculous.
He gritted his teeth and lowered his head, "The servant is sorry, young master. Please forgive me."
Mikael ignored him and turned around, "Don't show your face for the time being. Leave."
Vincent lifted his head and nodded, finally leaving Mikael alone. After the door was closed by a bang, Mikael who was feeling conceited a while ago immediately fell down.
His shoulders were trembling, and it was difficult for him to take a breath. Oh my gosh. He felt like he just stepped in into the death's gate once more. T-That servant…is scary. He even had an illusion that he had been killed in that strange man's mind several times.
How on earth did the original Mikael treat that servant to gain a strong hatred towards him?
"Uh…host, I just received the memories of the past, Mikael. It was delayed because of the sudden traffic in the soul department." The white cat awkwardly interrupt, "Do you want to receive the memories?"
Mikael couldn't get over from the cold gaze of the strange servant. He could only raise his head. Instantly, a tolerable pain appeared on the head and countless memories flashed one by one.
After receiving the memories, Mikael seems to lost his soul.
What the actual chicken? No wonder that strange man couldn't wait to kill him!
