Kat's version, not hers to tell

The next day

"you are late what took you so long to get here and you should have called" Juliana said to Chard.

"but I am here now, I want to talk to you let's go to your office to talk" Chard said

"that can wait, you get ready for the shoot and when you are done we will talk" Katherine said

"I proposed the us talking and not you, you don't get to decide whether it is now or later I do and I want to talk now" Chard said seriously

"ok let's talk"

"so what's this about" Katherine asked

"in our contract it didn't state the duration for this project and it also didn't say that apart from this project I can't accept another one" Chard said

"so?" Katherine asked not liking the feeling

"so I accepted another project and that requires my immediate attention, what I'm trying to say is although I will not be abandoning this project I won't give all my time to it like I earlier did"

"what? you can't do that?"

"I can, you can go through the contract and it doesn't stop me from doing as such" chard said

Chard handed the contract to Katherine and

"I believe you can read, so I leave you to your reading and screaming and cursing" Chard said with a smirk and left

Katherine went through the contract and indeed he can do exactly what he said.

"aaaarh!!! you bastard!!, you wizard!!, you!!!.... you!!!!. oh you wait I will never let you win"

Katherine was no ready to cancel chards contract, she spoke to the board but unfortunately they didn't agree, her finance team told her the disadvantages of replacing Chard and she had no choice than to stick with him.

it's been weeks and Chard indeed meant what he said.

"he didn't come through today too" Katherine

asked

"yes"

another week later Chard came on set to shoot, when he met Katherine

" oh my servant!! you don't know how much I have missed you," he said but Katherine ignored him

in between the shoot, he kept on taking a break and requesting a lot of things from Katherine but she tolerated him until she had had enough of it

"hey servant, get me something to drink" he said again

Katherine got him the drink

"I don't like it, it's too cold" Chard said, she got him another one

"I don't like it, it's too warm" he said again

Katherine came back with a drink warm and an ice

"when you feel like drinking it warm here it is and if you feel like drinking it cold just add some ice to it. ok now?" Katherine said
