Acting bad but good.

Abigail sighed she wondered why she had helped the young woman, 'It wasn't her fault so she should not be punished.' Abigail thought before standing up on her feet, she walked to the mirror and stood admiring her dress. It fitted her perfectly and her curves came out very well, her breast looked bigger and better in the gown. She nodded in satisfaction.

A knock echoed on the door and she turned her eyes towards the door, "Young Mistress, the Young Master is waiting for you downstairs. I was asked to inform you." The maid said admiring Abigail secretly. Abigail nodded her head and turned around.

She picked up her shoes and wore them after which she took her bag and also her cell phone, she patted her head before walking out of the room. She did not know the location of the reception because her husband had refused to tell her about it, she only knew she was having a reception party. She hoped to find a little fun there, but something clicked in her mind and she turned.

"Get me the face glow in the table please, I almost forgot that," Abigail ordered the maid trailing behind her and the maid nodded her head walking back to the room. She wondered why the mistress needed a face glow when she already looked so good and beautiful. The maid returned quickly handing it over to Abigail, Abigail smiled in gratitude and then began walking down once again.

Elias was sitting on the couch when he heard footsteps behind him, he had changed his clothes into something else. He was not wearing the suit he wore two hours ago, he stood up on his feet and turned ready to walk out. His gaze fell on the woman walking down and he stilled for a moment, he glanced at her from her head to her toe, he was mesmerized by the way she was dressed.

He cleared his throat when she got closer to him, he extended his hands towards hers and she placed her hands on his. They both wore matching colors like couples do, he had initially told the dress stylist to give her a black gown but the gown Abigail was wearing was different from the one he prepared for her.

"Are you ready?" Elias asked as she placed her hand in his, he held onto her in a possessive manner.

Abigail felt the urge to open his head and find out if he loosed some part of his brain but she held herself back, she was standing before him yet he was asking if she was ready. "Yes, I am ready," Abigail answered despite the tantrums she threw in her head.

Elias nodded and they both walked out of the house, the driver opened the car door for them and they both got in after the other. The driver shut the door and ran towards his seat to drive out of the mansion, he lowered the partition and began driving.

Abigail glanced at the car's interior, they were driving a limousine and the interior looked very pretty. The car was cozy, and warm and had soft chairs it felt like a camp car. Elias gazed at the woman with his side-eye, she haven't spoken to him in the past few days.

Initially, he was happy about it but it turned uncomfortable and stifling for him, he was not much of a talking person so he did not know how to start a conversation. His gaze went to her neck that was exposed and her collarbones, she was wearing an off-shoulder gown so it was opened.

Elias thought for a while before bringing out a box of jewelry from God knows where, he opened the jewelry box and brought out the silver necklace sparkling in the dark. He put down the box and brought his hands forward to her neck, she seemed caged in her work so he thought to do it quickly.

Abigail felt the cold object on her neck which brought her out of her thoughts, she raised her head towards her neck gazing into his eyes. "What are you doing?" Abigail asked piercing her eyes into him. "She rounded her hand on her neck after he moved backward and she felt the cold item.

" This? Why did you give me this?" Abigail asked touching the object, the cold feel on her skin made her somewhat happy. It gave a source of security to her.

"Your neck looked somewhat empty and I happened to have this with me so I have it to you, I don't want you taking your neck around," Elias said whispering the last part to himself.

Abigail had a wow expression on her face, he was trying to tell her he had jewelry in his car randomly and decided to gift it to her. what a joke! "Does this belong to one of your flings? If it does then I am taking it off." Abigail said ready to take off the necklace.

"It doesn't, you can wear it," Elias remarked in a cool tone turning to stare out the window, although it was dark outside.

"If you say so, I do not want to get entangled in any sort of fight," Abigail muttered and then turned towards the window too, the ride turned completely silent. "Is the party filled with high-class people? Are others from other countries coming in?" Abigail asked after holding herself back for a while.

"No just a few family, family friends and shareholders, and some other people in the society," Elias replied, he wondered why she was asking him questions like that.

"Then if someone does will it be reported to the news? Or someone goes missing?" Abigail questioned further.

Elias turned to stare at her when she asked the question, he wondered if she was crazy or if she was just kidding. "I am kidding, do not mind me," Abigail said immediately and he shook his head before turning away once again.

"Act like we are in love with each other when we get there, the contract says it all. We want others to believe we are married, got it?" Elias stared and Abigail nodded her head silently.
