How do I stop being a fish.

Coming to, in a pet shop, inside of a glass fish tank, is not the ideal way to wake up on a Saturday. Of course, I’m not that unlucky, as to not know my situation, because I have this lovely thing right here, telling me what to do. [Emergency quest!: Reincarnation and fishes, You get the jest of it, you’re a fish, now get the hell out of there! Reward:??? Penalty: Death(cause of death will be neglect)] Ah, what a nice Saturday... Fuck.

Rolling

Okay, now thinking back on it, WHY DID I HOP OUT THE WINDOW LIKE THAT.

I mean, yeah I was going for escape but...

Shit whatever, as far as I know, this was the best option available, if I had actually been brought home by those two then there might not have been even an opportunity to escape... And then I would've died in a dirty fishbowl because of negligence... No thanks!

As I continue to roll down the streets, rapidly gaining speed, the water violently spinning around the bowl, throwing me all about like a doll, I notice people giving me strange looks. Maybe it's because a fish is rolling down the street, who knows?

Luckily for me, the street is rather straight, leading straight down to the water without any stop, and the streets are rather empty at the moment, with no cars and only some pedestrians, the same ones giving me weird looks.

Basically, lucky me, I thought I was going to have to pull some 'I AM FISH' shit to get to the water, as my current situation reminds me of that game a little...

I rapidly continue to roll, never stopping as I experience a few more minutes of weird stares and 'HOLY SHIT IM GONNA THROW UP *Glub*'

Eventually, though, my luck seems to run out, as when I'm near the bottom of the road and almost to the water, I hit a bump.

Hitting the bump, at such high speeds, will of course result in bad things. Luckily, my bowl didn't shatter, unlucky, fish can't fly.

'Hey, I can see the pet shop from here!'

*SMASH*

The bump, of course, sends me flying in the air, letting me clear the rest of the way to the water from above.

Of my bad luck didn't end there, as on the way down I hit a guard rail near the water's edge, freeing me from my bowl while also sending numerous shards of glass into my fishy body.

*SLAP*

I hit the water with a resounding slap, which will surely do wonders for my new glass cuts. As I slowly sink into the water, somehow, I can feel my fishy body start to lose blood, as well as consciousness.

As my mind starts to slip onto darkness, I can't help but notice the loud *DING* as a bright pink light envelope my everything, eventually ebbing away at the pain of my cuts, before it too gets enveloped by the soft, warm light.

*Glub*

--- --- ---

An unknown amount of time later.

*gluuub*

I start to regain my consciousness, slightly confused as to where I am, only to remember with a jolt that I am a fish, and I am in the water.

'Wouy, this is crazy, I'm in water!'

Yep, escape attempt successful, I'd say... 2 stars out of 3, since I screwed up the end there... Speaking of...

I shake myself, trying to wake myself up, before I start movingly fishy body in circles, trying to inspect my body.

And honestly, not that bad, somehow most of the wounds have healed, although I do have some scars on my fins it seems.

'Huh, was I always pink and blue... And what's with my vision...?'

Quickly, as always, a blue panel shows up in front of me.

[SPECIES UPGRADE COMPLETE?!

Goldfish> Baby Hyperfish!

Baby Hyperfish

A hyperfish is one of the few fish that can interact with mana. Hyperfish takes in mana and uses it by converting it into hyper energy. Hyper energy is like mana, but it has enhanced speed and destructive attributes, it's also highly unstable and very reactive, usually too dangerous for any living creature to use, hyperfish however, can easily use it, as they were made to do so.]

Below the description of the hyperfish was a poorly rendered 3D model of... Me?

It was a small fish, it had two sides, one side was light blue while the other was light pink, it was split down the middle between its eyes. The fins on the blue side were pink while the fins on the pink side were blue. Rather than normal eyes, the fish had two x marks where its eyes should be, again the one on the blue side was pink and vice versa.

'Hah? So I'm a radioactive fish? Sweet!'

As I was done with the whole 'I'm a fish!' thing, I decided to take a quick look at my surroundings.

Surprisingly I hadn't moved too far from the shore, as a few meters away from me I could make out the concrete foundation. My surroundings are pretty normal, just some plant life and... Trash...

It's a bit different seeing trash in the water as a fish... It's like there's trash floating in my AIR, not cool dude.

Anyways, ignoring the trash like a good fish, I decided to test out this 'hyper' energy on some punk.

'Alright, shitty concrete, I'm gonna beam your ass!'

Not sure what to do, as I face off face to face with the face of this concrete wall, I decided to let my instinct take over, as, if I don't know how to do it then surely my body does, right?

I start to mindlessly draw in an invisible energy, watching intensely so I know what to do next time.

The energy I draw in is then circulated within my body, seemingly energizing it, before it does through some sort of... Filter? As it comes out of the filter the energy visibly changes.

This new energy is pink and blue, the same color as me, and it's... Glowing?

'BRO what the Fuck, I'm lit up like a fuxking Christmas tree... cool...'

Yeah, that's right, as I convert what I assume to be mana in and convert it to hyper energy, my fins and eyes glow their separate colors, giving me a certain menacing look, for a baby fish.

The hyper energy quickly starts to gather near the front of my body before it starts to be drawn out.

Under my fascinated gaze, the energy coalesces into a rotating ball of blue and pink, radioactive, pure, untreated, from the source, death!

With a mighty roar, the energy let loose, spinning at a rapid pace sending strands of pink and blue outward from the beam fired from my forehead.

The beam, which is a swirl of pink and blue, impacts the concrete, creating a small explosion of energy on the impact zone.

After everything clears, I can see the destruction I caused.

A small crater on the side of the concrete is revealed, sparking slightly with radioactive energy.

'Isn't this a bit exaggerated, I didn't even use that... Mu...ch.... En.....ergy.....'

As I say this, I start to feel my fish body start to fall down in the water, tilting into it's side as everything starts to go dark around me.

'Damn..... Fish instincts...'

And so, I passed out the second time in a day, the cause of which was the expenditure of all my energy.

--- --- ---

Hallo mein freundins! So basically, this is the second chapter, and... Radioactive fish.

Anyways, about the whole passing out schtick... Not my fault~? Really though, when I'm writing, I usually just come up with a general scenario, and then I either A) come up with an idea I like and write it in or B) Roll a D20 and see if our mc is lucky or not :p.

Anywho~ Probably the last chapter for today, I'm going to try and keep myself from burning out by writing a bunch of chapters at once, cause~ then ~ we'd~ never~ see~ a~ cute~ fish~ girl~!

Hm... Don't got much else to say other than...

FUCK YOU ;)
