The mishap

What do you expect from a bar in the territory of underworld? You would probably imagine something unethical like gambling and men fulfilling their lust, which is for sure true. 'The Crazy Night' one of the most popular bar in the underworld known for drug trafficking had the same atmosphere in the night but this routine changed when five figures suddenly appeared.

When the bar tender saw a group of five familiar figures coming, he gasped and quickly informed his manager. The manager came in front of them, bowed and asked, "Sir, do you want me to take you all to the VIP section or clear the whole area?"

None of them answered instead they just gave the manager a cold glare which scared him to death.

Without saying anything he ran and told his workers to clean the whole area. Everyone was shocked but did not dare to ask him. Within 10 min the whole bar was empty, many customers complained but when they looked at the five figures standing in the front no one dare to say another word and left including the manager and workers.

After the bar was empty, they sat and looked at each other.

For a moment no one spoke but then, one of them said in a cold tone " Mr. Cole did not you know how dangerous the situation was?" 

Mr. Cole replied, "I knew it and everything was fully prepared, but that bastard decided to change the plan just at the moment. Somebody informed him for sure."

"Even if there is a spy we do not have enough time to catch him", someone said while pouring himself a glass of red wine.

"Then what can we even do at this moment, we lost to him", someone roared and smashed a glass on the front wall.

Everybody looked at him Mr. Cole tried to calm him down but it was all in vain, he again smashed a full bottle of red wine. Suddenly someone shouted, "Mr. Frederick shut the fuck up, I do not have time to calm your fucking anger", no one dared to say another word. Silence prevail the room.

After having a few drinks Mr. Cole spoke,"Why don't we just kill him and finish this shit with one stroke."

 Mr. Frederick laughed and said, "You are saying as if we never tried it before, we failed every time."

"Let's end it this time, I know someone who can do this job without that asshole even noticing." said the man who was silent the whole time and winked at the person sitting next to him.

At The First Hope Hospital

The whole corridor was a ruckus. The dean entered the scene and saw a woman sitting on the bench and crying her heart out. He went near her and said " Mrs. Elrod we are extremely sorry for your loss, could you please control yourself a bit and help us with some formalities."  The woman looked at him with her puffy eyes looking pitiful and said, "My husband just died….do you think I am in the right state?"  The dean went silent and looked down.

"Maisie, call Anna" she ordered her maid who accompanied her all this time.

Maisie followed her madam's order and dialed Anna's number. Her hands were trembling; she did not know how to convey this mishap to the eldest daughter of the Elrod family. Suddenly a soft voice was heard from the other side of the phone, "Maisie…. " After hearing her voice she froze on the spot, unable to say anything.

Anna's POV:

When I heard my phone ringing the first person that came into my mind was my dad but to my surprise it was Maisie. Why is she calling me at this hour?

I picked up the phone and said "Maisie…" but I got no response for few seconds. It confused my so I asked " Maisie is everything alright?"

"Y-young lady….I… I wanted to…" before she could complete her words she broke into tears, I could hear her sobs which scared the shit out of me, it gave me goosebumps, "Maisie tell me what happened…is dad alright, did something happened to mom, just say it what happened you are scaring me"

"Master Elrod….." before she could complete her words I screamed "No…please….He is

f-fine...nothing happenedto dad r-right?" tears developed in my eyes and waited for her response.

She said crying, "Young madam…Master is no more"

I could not say anything I felt my heart breaking into fine pieces…Someone stabbed me right in my heart. He can not leave me like this. I just talked to him in the morning how can this happen so suddenly.

She was a crying mess…she somehow managed to call her driver and asked him to take her to her father.

At hospital

After an hour a beautiful young lady arrived in the corridor, everyone looked at her, her eyes were puffy and she was barely able to walk on her. Even in such a pitiful condition her beauty gained everyone's attention. As soon as Maisie saw her she ran towards her and held her arm to support her.

When Mrs. Elrod saw the young lady she again broke into tears and screamed "Anna".  The staff quickly understood that she is the eldest daughter of Mr. Reyes Elrod. 

As soon as Anna heard her mother's voice she ran to her, throw her head in her mother's arms. Just as she felt her mother's touch she could no longer stand it cried her heart out. The mother-daughter duo were indulged in their grief.

Maisie went towards them and said, "Madam….w-we need to inform h-her too"

Anna's POV:

How can I tell her….she is not even here if I tell her now she will rush here but...it will be a mess for sure.  

I cannot face her….I just can-  

"Big sis….take care of dad, when I will come back first thing I would like to hear is my dad's voice, remember it." I remembered her last words when she left the country…..

I was more terrified now; a chill ran down my spine. But I have to tell her. My mind couldn't apprehend anything so I asked my mom, "Mom….how should I say it to lil sis?" She didn't replied me for a moment then she sighed and said, "Just ask her to come home, do not tell her about dad now….we will tell her once she comes back."

I couldn't deny it so I just nodded.
