The First Encounter

At the meeting room of Byron Enterprise

"Mr. Byron if we had known this earlier that your son had such a brilliant mind, I am sure that deal would have been signed months earlier." said a man in his late 50s.

"It's my fault that i doubted my son's ability to run a business but he proved me wrong so gracefully" said Mr. Isander Byron while putting his hand on his son's shoulder.

Everyone praised the young man....but to everyone's surprise he didn't said anything nor he smiled the whole time. His sharp jawline, perfectly build body one could stare at for hours, such a handsome face that any girl would drool over him; but there was a problem.....his cold hazel eyes though they were pretty but the dangerous gaze of him was enough to make people shut.

After a long break of silence, Mr. Byron understood the awkwardness in the environment and whispered to his son, "Can't you act normal....just for a moment."

Instead of a reply from his dear son Mr. Byron just got a cold glance.

One of the business partner intentionally coughed to get the attention and said,"Mr. Byron why don't you just get started with the presentation."

Mr. Byron thought " Thank god someone changed the mood of this room"

Just after that Mr. Byron's secretary started the presentation;

" The Byron Enterprise is planning to expand our Clothing and Perfume business in the European market which is not easy because of the interference of our competitors. To satisfy this goal we need a well recognised company in the European market that can help us build our stores as soon as possible and also act as a manufacturer. The Byron Enterprise is willing to give 30% share of the profit."

After hearing this everybody in the room got excited. Now it was time for all the people in the room to compete with each other to crack the deal.

"Mr. Byron you already know from the past deals with my company, We make a great team." said Mr. Hale proudly.

Mr. Byron smiled and said "I know Mr. Hale but this time its my son's decision. This project will be completely handled by him, I will just be a spectator."

Everyone turned their head towards Young Mr. Byron only to see him silent.

After a lot of discussion, Mr. Byron looked at his son and said in a low voice

" Nathan...everybody is getting impatient just say something"

Nathan looked at his father and said in a cold tone, " I am not convinced with them."

Everyone went silent...but a light chuckle could be heard. All eyes even Nathan's went towards the left corner of the table, where a young lady probably in her early 20s was sitting.

Nathan's POV :

How dare she chuckle at my words . I looked at her straight in the eyes and she did the same.

She looked straight in my eyes for a sec and said,"You said you weren't conviced by anybody in this room, probably cause I didn't gave my offer yet."

What a confidence.....I looked at her and it would be a disgrace to not admire her beautiful hazel eyes that were colliding with my eyes, her pink lips which looked so captivating...But I have never seen her before..She is so young how is she here...I remember my father called all the billionaires...how come she is one of them at such a young age and I never saw her before.

I was so indulged in my thoughts that I didn't realised I was staring at her...I reaised it when I saw her smirk...DANMM IT...

"Mr. Nathan Byron its our first encounter so let me have the pleasure to introduce myself, I am Natasha Solace.....the owner of Solace Enterprise."

Everybody gasped when they heard the name 'Solace Enterprise'. Its one of the biggest names in the European market.

So that's why she was so confident.

She proudly said "I don't think I need to explain anything about how capable I am when it comes to European market."

My dad said ,"Indeed Ms. Solace".

How can I not made this deal with her....her captivating presence already made me look...i mean stare at her...indeed it was her who was going to win this deal.

"What do you say Mr. Nathan?"

Her words snapped me out of my thoughts. I replied "You already know the answer...so let's work together and take over the European market."

Everything was settled....now it was time to decide when to sign the papers.

"Ms. Solace and Nathan its your deal so we will take our leave...All the best both of you." said Mr. Byron.

The room was now empty.

Natasha's POV :

I was looking at the papers for final time when i felt like someone's looking at me, I looked up and it was Nathan staring at me.....our eyes met...still this man didn't looked away.

I sighed and said, "Do you know its not right to give your soon to be business partner such an intense gaze."

He didn't replied instead just gave me a cold chuckle.

I raised my eyebrow giving him a 'What was that for' look.

He stood up and sat right next to me and snatched the papers from my hand and said coldly, "Why are you looking at them again, don't you trust us?"

He said it in such a cold way that I felt a chill run down my spine....so I also replied coldly

"No" and lightly snatched the papers back.

He stared at me with a 'What the fuck' look on his face.

I ignored him and again looked at the project papers.

After a min he said, "You are a billionaire at such a young age still I never heard your name nor I ever saw you"

That was a bit straightforward...who ask their soon to be business partner such a thing just after few minutes of meeting.

I looked at him and said "Privacy"

He raised his eyebrows and said, " Are you doing a competition of who is more colder with me?"

"Of course not Mr. Byron."

"We are soon to be partners and this project need us to work together....closely....so Ms. Solace just call me Nathan" he said normally but his coldness was still felt.

"Then you can just call me Natasha." I said

After some time i heard him tapping his long fingers on the table, I looked at him and saw him already looking at me.....again.

"Let's finish the paper after two days" he said and stood up.

I just nodded and also stood up.

He motioned his hand towards me for a handshake...I accepted it and then we just parted our ways.

At Nathan's Cabin

He was laying his head back while sitting on his chair and tapping his fingers on the table.

Suddenly his phone rang, he looked at the caller ID and it was his secretary Ace.

He picked the phone and heard him screaming with joy " Mr. Nathan we cracked the deal with Mr. Cole just now."

I was shocked, we have been working on this deal with Mr. Cole since last 3 months and I was almost convinced that our competitor Hanson Enterprise would steal this deal for sure.

When I heard Ace i was shocked. After listening to the whole thing I hung up and thought what a lucky day it is...We got two deals in a row....indeed its a lucky day for me.
