Babysitters
For the past few weeks, Mia has been doing a mental shout-out to every good mother in the world. The emphasis was on GOOD mother.
She didn't know how difficult it was to raise a child until now. From the cries adults couldn't understand to the constant pooping in diapers, and even the refusal to eat when she was crying, made her frustrated.
She was at least lucky to have Mira and James helping her out, especially James, who helped with the kid any night he was around like tonight. He had just returned this evening and was carrying Zee.
As much as she was thankful to him, it was beginning to annoy her a little because Zee seemed to like him better than her and Mira. Sometimes the girl would cry and cry, but as soon as James carried her and made some funny faces while speaking in weird voices, she would start giggling and trying to put his finger inside her toothless mouth.
