-----Kongo POV-----

I was walking down to the chord shore doing my annual 100-year gem search I was about 3/4 of the way there when I saw a glint of rainbow colors, at first I thought it was the lunarians but as I drew closer I could see a rare fully developed gem laying on the ground, I was ecstatic to say the least the others would be happy to get another sibling.

-----White diamond's POV-----

My vision was blurry I could hardly see but I could hear everything around me it sounded like I was in a grassland area, that in-itself wasn't strange but I also hear footsteps approaching me they sounded heavy I guess it's fine now I know I'm not the only one in this place wherever I am it is always good to know that there are others like me or close to being like me, I wonder how long I have been laying here if I had to guess I would say at least 10 days.

"Hello little gem would you like to come with me to meet others like yourself"

'His voice sounds deep he might be the leader of the others he mentioned I guess going with them would be better than staying here and maybe he can fix my vision'

I nodded in agreement with what he said as it might be fun to meet the others, after all what can a mostly blind person do out in the open alone and a few days ago I could hear things shattering so there might be some unfriendly things around here as well.

"Good, you may call me Kongo Sensei I'm the leader or father figure to the other gems you will meet them once I sculpt you into a more refined shape"

I nodded once again.

I fell asleep while we were walking back to the place where all the other gems are it was a comfortable ride and the wind blowing on me was nice.

----Time skip 30min-------

When we got to the school like place I was brought to a table where Kongo sensei refined me into a shape that was more suitable for me to move and see it was a rather long process he chipped pieces off of me made eye sockets a mouth hole, and some other stuff then he made my eyes and put them in the sockets now I could see then he put some powder stuff on me, and I was done.

"Try speaking you should be able to now"

"....."

"Try moving air through your mouth"

" hmm can't speak? Well that is a little concerning"

"It might take you a few years after all you were only just born"

-----Sensei POV-----

I had just finished fixing up the new addition to our family I asked them to speak but it doesn't seem they can, I guess it's fine they look to be a white diamond, so they should be fit for combat tho if they partner up they might have some trouble but it shouldn't be too much.

" Sensei!"

I turned around to where the yell came from it was Jade they are a diligent worker they usually don't yell unless its important.

"Yes what is it Jade?"

"Umm well lunarians have been spotted near the school Bort and Dia have gone to deal with them tho"

"OK I'm on my way there while I'm gone gather everyone in the meeting room"

"Yes!"

I made haste to the area where there lunarians showed up I can see Bort and Dia fighting them they are almost done, so I watch from close by just in case, it seems to be an old type this time Bort does most of the fighting the relationship between the two of them is complicated I know dia hates being protected and criticized all the time.

" O Kongo sensei the lunarians have been dealt with"

"Yes bort did all the work as usual"

"I see good job bort and dia go to the meeting room when you get back"

"New gem Sensei?"

"Yes I just found them recently"

------- time skip back at school------ white diamond's pov----------

I and Sensei were standing in front of a bunch of other gems they ranged from different colors and types but I guess they are my new family everyone looks so nice I hope we get along well, we should that one with the long black hair and tiny iris's looks like they would be mean but I shouldn't judge a book by its cover.

"Everyone we have a new gem in our family they can't speak so communication may be a little tough, but they are in the diamond class they are white diamond everyone say hi"

"Hello!!"

'Ookay that black haired one just humphed me did I offend them already!?'

"Bort stop don't be rude"

"We don't need another useless gem like phos they may be a diamond, but they can't talk"

"Hey I'm not useless!! I just haven't found my calling"

"Right now that introductions are done lets get you a sword then we will show you your room"

After everyone dispersed from the meeting table I was led to where Obsidian makes swords I'd like a lightweight sword, so I could keep my mobility.

'I wonder how long the blade is going to be'

"Obsidian give me one of the lighter swords we have"

"Ok Sensei" after a few minutes Obsidian came back with a slightly shorter sword than the others and it was thinner.

"Here try this see if you like it"

"....." I nodded my head in agreement

'Just right I like the weight it shouldn't hinder me that much'

"....." I nod my head in confirmation that I like the sword

"Good now for your room it will be on the third floor 3rd to last door on the right"

----mini time skip----

After I walked up to the third floor and to my room I put my sword in the corner and looked around there was a desk with a chair, a window, a bed, a rack for my uniform and sleeping cloths everything I would need.

Since the sun was going down I decided to get dressed in my sleep ware it's a robe like thing all white and the uniform I have is thigh high boots, a bodysuit uniform, and long finger less gloves and a white tie it is a nice uniform.

After I put on the sleeping clothes I laid down in the bed and dozed off I had a dream.

----- Flashback-----

"Hey little shit dinners ready!"

"Ok"

'God I hate this place all day every day it's the same thing get worked to the bone eat, shit, sleep, rinse and repeat I wish I could leave this place only 4 more years to go then I'm outta here'

I live in a 4-room apartment with my shit family with my step-mom, dad, and 2-step sisters, I hate them all ever since my dad left my angel of a mom it's been a living hell 4 months ago my mom stopped all contact with me, she still puts money in my savings account so that's good, some times it's not all bad living here only when my dad and step-mom are gone tho the sisters are OK when its just us but if I do something they don't like while the parents are gone they will blow it out of proportion when they do get home and I get beat for it.

"HUUUUUH! You little shit your sisters tell you to do something you do it!!"

I didn't even get to finish my sentence I was already on the floor coughing up major amounts of blood, when I looked at my bitches for sisters they were giving me the most evil grin I have seen, then it went black I was feeling pain on minute then it just stopped, and I was enveloped in warmth and silence.

-----Flashback End-----

*Crack* *crack*

"....."

I had a strange dream I wonder if that was the past me if, so I'm glad I am here now I won't have to be abused anymore.

'I should probably get those cracks fixed'

"White diamond why are you cracked did something happen?"

"....." *nods*

"Ahh I see a nightmare? Must have been pretty bad huh?"

"....." *nods*

"Rutile should be able to patch them up in no time"

"....." *nods*

I start walking to the stairs, so I can go to the med corner and get the cracks patched on the way I passed a few of the other gems that were just starting to get up I decided to practice my gymnastics and free running skills halfway down the stairs, surprisingly it went pretty well I made it down in 5 seconds flat and all I did was jump off the side.

I walked up to the med corner and Rutile was already moving around.

"Let me guess you need the cracks patched up?"

"....." *nods

"OK have a seat this won't take long"
