Looking away, Noah took a deep breath before saying, “Well, I was just caught up in the moment. I was mad at Levi and ended up sleeping with…” he paused and glancing at me, sat upright, seeming to be alarmed.
He cleared his throat and diverted the topic, “Ahem… let’s drop this topic and get inside. It is cold here.”
He got on his feet but stood still gazing at the distance.
“Quynh! aren’t you coming in?” he questioned again.
Raising my head, I glanced at him, replying, “No, I am fine. I want to stay a little longer here.”
“No, you cannot do that.” Gripping my arms, he tried to pull me up. “You are not in the condition of being stubborn and staying here. Remember a life is within you and you have to take care of yourself?”
