It's funny how life works. Everything around you and inside you always does its best to make sure you never have it all.

There's always something missing, a piece of the puzzle, an answer.

I sigh to myself, putting my hands over my stomach like I've done at least a hundred times today. The paleness of my hands contrasts well with the dark blue shirt I'm wearing and the black pants.

The people rush back and forth around me and in front of me, all of them having something to do and nobody even sparing a glance towards the girl who's life has just been torn apart, again.

To be honest, I would probably be the happiest person on the planet, no matter my age, if only he was here with me.

He'd hold my hand as we'd look for baby stuff in a local store.

He'd put his palms on my belly and softly caress it, whispering to the little baby inside.
