Chapter 16: Are You Also a King of Britain?!

The golden light shining from the streetlamp and the sound of loud laughter immediately caught everyone's attention.

"Huh? What's going on with that guy?"

Spotting the Servant clad in golden armor, Jounouchi couldn't help but feel confused by the bizarre figure who was laughing heartily.

"What's with the loud 'haha'? You show up, and instead of saying something normal, you laugh like that?"

"Another weirdo has arrived," Kyoko Sakura muttered, glancing at Gilgamesh standing on the streetlamp.

Bang!

The sound of clashing weapons drew everyone's gaze back to the battle, where Berserker had just knocked the holy sword out of Kenshin's hands. The sword spun through the air before landing at Saber's feet.

"?!"

After completing that action, Berserker retracted his golden axe, leaving the other Servants puzzled by this behavior.

"!"

Kenshin realized what had happened. Berserker, aware that he and Archer were allies, had deliberately disarmed him of Saber's sword.

"Hmph, it's been a while since I've encountered a Servant like you," Gilgamesh sneered from atop the lamp post, casting a condescending glance down at Berserker. "I'm starting to develop a slight interest in the true name of this mongrel."

Despite the rude intrusion, Gilgamesh remained unbothered by Berserker's lack of formal greeting. In fact, Berserker's display had impressed him. The weapons Berserker wielded—none of which existed in Gilgamesh's vast treasury—had piqued his interest.

The cursed dragon sword, the shape-shifting golden spear, the magical tome, and the colossal golden axe were all treasures Gilgamesh had never seen before. This intrigued him, especially since his treasure trove, the *Gate of Babylon*, was said to contain the originals of all treasures in human history.

Saber's holy sword, Excalibur, was immediately recognized by Gilgamesh upon sight. Yet, even he couldn't identify the origins of Berserker's arsenal. This mystery only added to Gilgamesh's amusement.

"Furthermore... someone has been hiding in the shadows all this time," Gilgamesh remarked, his tone filled with disdain. "Is this how this Rider fights? Like a rat?"

As Gilgamesh addressed Berserker, he turned his gaze toward another part of the battlefield, the space behind him rippling.

"What...?"

"Are those... all Noble Phantasms?!"

"They're even more exaggerated than Berserker's weapons!"

Everyone turned to see several ripples in the air, out of which various weapons—swords, spears, and halberds—emerged and shot toward the forest, triggering a series of explosions.

"What's going on?"

Jounouchi and Kyoko still hadn't grasped why Gilgamesh suddenly launched an attack in that direction. But as the dust cleared, they were left speechless at the sight of a massive robot standing in the blast zone.

"What a violent way to say hello," a voice calmly remarked. "Such a wild temper, quite fitting for an ancient king."

Standing on the outstretched hand of the giant mecha was Lelouch, dressed in his regal white emperor attire.

"Wait, wait, wait... Does this mean..."

Jounouchi counted the people around him, shocked. "Are all seven Servants here?!"

"I guess that golden guy is Archer, and the big one is Rider?" Kyoko frowned, glancing around. "Though Archer didn't use a bow... he's just throwing weapons everywhere."

She had never imagined that the "Archer" class would fight by shooting weapons instead of arrows. Compared to these bizarre characters, Kyoko was beginning to feel that magical girls were much more normal.

"Hmph, mongrel, who gave you permission to stand on the same level as a king?" Gilgamesh's voice dripped with contempt, as the *Gate of Babylon* opened once again, more weapons poised to fire.

"Oh? I may be a former emperor, but there's no reason for me to bow down to you." Lelouch remained defiant, his mecha's cannons aimed at the golden-armored Servant.

'A Servant who uses multiple Noble Phantasms and fires them like arrows... his arrogance and self-proclaimed kingship... it's hard to pinpoint his identity,' Lelouch thought, perplexed by Gilgamesh's behavior.

Among all the Heroic Spirits, Gilgamesh was the hardest to identify. His manner of attack, the sheer number of weapons, and his overwhelming confidence didn't easily match any historical figure Lelouch could recall. Like Berserker, Gilgamesh was shrouded in mystery. Meanwhile, Assassin and Saber were much easier to figure out. Assassin, clearly a local Japanese hero, and Saber, wielding a holy sword, could only be one person.

"You... you're the one who attacked us at the beach!" Saber suddenly exclaimed, recognizing Lelouch's identity. "Why did you interrupt my battle with Assassin?!"

"...?"

Lelouch raised an eyebrow, puzzled by Saber's accusation. 'Does she think this is some honorable duel? It's a war for wishes... Why would I care about a fair fight?'

Her protest left Lelouch wondering if her supposed identity was correct. Could she really be who he suspected?

"Are you truly a king of Britain?" Lelouch asked, his tone filled with curiosity.

"What?" Saber was taken aback by the question but quickly realized the implications. Her holy sword, Excalibur, had likely given her identity away. With a sharp retort, she replied, "And what does that matter?"

"If this is your way of ruling as a king," Lelouch continued, "then Britain must have been a truly pitiful place."

"You...!" Saber's anger flared.

"Ahahahaha!! I see!" Gilgamesh's sudden burst of laughter cut through the tension, drawing everyone's attention back to him.

"What a ridiculous scene!"

The others were still trying to make sense of Gilgamesh's behavior when he revealed something astonishing.

"Two rulers of Britain, standing here at the same time!"

"What do you mean, Archer?" Saber was confused, but Lelouch felt a sense of foreboding at the revelation.

With a mocking tone, Gilgamesh declared, "Arthur Pendragon and Lelouch vi Britannia! How amusing! Two kings of Britain, side by side!"
