Chapter 9: The Schedule

"Hello everyone I'm Natalie Chase, and were live here in our studio with the rising icon! Mr. Ethan Pattel, can you say hi to our viewers?" Natalie said to Ethan who nodded in return.

"Hello everyone, I'm Ethan Pattel." Ethan didn't know what to add, it was his first interview ever!

"Ok, Mr. Pattel you will answer some questions inside the box," Natalie said and shook the black box.

Ethan inserted his hand and grabbed a piece of paper, he gave the paper to Natalie.

"First question, how old are you?" Natalie asked.

"I'm 24 years old," Ethan answered. and once again put his hand on the box.

"Second question, when is your birthday?" Natalie asked.

"May 24, 1983," Ethan answered.

"OK, third question who is your biggest inspiration in writing the song Photograph?" Natalie asked.

"Umm...My answer would be my dad...When I was ten years old he sadly passed away from cancer. Umm although he isn't here anymore, just looking at the photographs where he was smiling and laughing...It reminds me of the time when he was here, alive...And where his smile and that time was frozen still." Ethan answered warmly.

Kim Yohan and Ethan Pattel had many resemblances in their life history. Yohan's father died when he was ten years old due to a fatal car crash and was raised by his loving grandmother with his two older brothers.

"Oh..." Natalie and the rest of the crew felt pity looking at Ethan's smiling face.

"Umm, fourth question, where did you get the idea of writing Happier?" Natalie asked.

"Oh, I had the idea from my first love.." Ethan answered shyly.

"Ooooh tell me about it!" Natalie asked.

"I was fifteen, and I had my first girlfriend. She was beautiful and we dated for umm some time.." Ethan awkwardly answered.

"By some time?" Natalie asked.

"Three days.." Ethan answered embarrassed.

The answer brought laughter in the studio, even Natalie laughed at Ethan's answer.

The comment section was also bursting with excitement and laughter.

Meanwhile, in a little neighborhood in Boston, Emily a mother of two almost choked hearing Ethan.

"Aw, that's just sad..." Emily's husband, Lewis who was watching the live despondently said.

"Umm, Honey? Aren't you going to work? It's already 7 o'clock." Emily said to her husband.

"Five more minutes Hon, I have to finish this," Lewis replied.

"You can finish watching that at work! Now go!" Emily angrily shouted to which her husband nodded and sadly left the house.

After leaving, Emily turned on her phone to watch the livestream. "Ethan got famous huh.." Emily aka Ethan's first love watched the livestream with her interest piqued.

"OK fifth question, if you have a chance to collaborate with someone on a song who will it be?" Natalie asked.

"Umm, the Rapper SweetTooth," Ethan answered.

He had a few good rap music that he wanted to try out, and Ethan tried practicing rapping in his apartment, turns out that due to his increased level of vocals, he can rap well.

After answering the other questions from Natalie, it was finally time for the last question.

"Ok, tenth question and the last! I'm sure your female fans would love this question, Mr. Pattel are you single?" 

Immediately the livestream went crazy, and many female fans filled the chat.

"Umm yes.." Ethan answered.

- Yeh! Does that mean I have a chance?]

[Replied to Meowmo:

- No way! Even if Ethan is single that doesn't mean that he'll date a fan!]

"Anyways thank you so much Mr. Pattel for your presence here in our studio. Please do support our musician here Mr. Pattel for his two record singles Photograph and Happier!"

After the last segment, the interview was done and Ethan with Noah left the studio. Next, Ethan had to model for a brand called Essence.

"Thank you so much Mr. Brooks, and this must be Mr. Pattel, you look better in person than in the photos!" The photographer, Sam complimented.

Sam toured Ethan and Noah for a bit inside the studio, after the tour. Sam and Ethan got to work.

"Perfect! Now move to your right and stay in that exact pose." Sam was busy capturing the pictures.

Ethan had to take off his shirt due to Sam's instruction, he was only wearing pants while holding the perfume in his hand.

"Now give more of that vibe! Yes!" Sam said.

Unlike the first photo shoot where Ethan was quite rigid and didn't know where to put his hands or how to pose correctly, this time Ethan made it look as if he was a veteran model.

"Amazing! Thank you so much for these amazing shots!" Sam said.

The photoshoot didn't take too long, so Ethan and Noah left the studio. Noah drove Ethan to the StarStruck Company. 

"We're back, Huu it was such a tiring day," Noah said.

As they entered the studio he was confused when he saw everyone staring at the computer screen deep in thought as if there was something major that happened without him and Ethan knowing.

"Is everything all right?" Noah asked to which Ryan stood up and patted him on the shoulder.

"It's hard to say this but...the two record singles have....Gained another 10 million views!!" Ryan and the others immediately stopped their acts and began blowing the confetti.

"Congratulations Ethan! You did it!!" Henry who reeked of alcohol hugged Ethan.

"Umm, thanks?" Ethan who was uncomfortable replied.

"Ok, now that's inappropriate.." Rachel came to the rescue and pulled Henry away from Ethan. "Sorry, he's like that when he's drunk."

"Uh..." Ethan seeing the same situation couldn't help but compare the two.

"Hey we're back, I bought the food and drinks." Peter with Amanda were holding drinks and food.

"Let's throw a small party!" Amanda shouted and began putting the food on the table.
