Hollywood Creed: 1st Draft

Before [Alexander Creed: Re-life] there was this story. I give you... 70s Alexander Creed... An inspiration and version before Alexander Creed of [Alexander Creed: Re-Life] became what he is! It's going to be crazy, whacky, offensive, and just plain trashy. Welcome to Hollywood Creed: 1st Draft! ------ This is a work of trashy fiction before my other trashy fictions... so don't bash my trashy work too much. Also, this is just a fictionalization of things for entertainment and just sharing for free. Hope I don't get much trouble for it and hope I don't get sued or whatever.

Dinner was served at the Creed household but only Sullivan and Alexander were around. Mark was still stuck in India and coping with the burdensome task of post-producing and editing three movies.

The last two still have a lot of time and leeway to be perfected or even spliced up but the first Kid Psychic was already in its finishing touches.

At first, Alexander was worried that his father was undergoing the same anxiety-giving stress that he is having but knowing that he dealt with these sorts of situations for his entire career life, he must have already strengthened his will.

The boy was still at his first step into the straining film industry while his father practically lived it. No weak-willed person can persevere through a sleigh of unacheiving movies and still have the passion to go on.

His grandfather also informed him that his father was doing yoga due to the deal being pushed forward and there is one thing that Alexander knows about, and that is physical exercise having an extra benefit pertaining the mental well-being.

"Grandpa, can your toy designers do custom toys?" Alexander shifted his train of thought and asked. He was starting the next phase in his plans and the toy makers would be an insightful help on this matter.

"Of course, they can but they haven't had much practice due to custom-made toys being inexistent in this line of business. Even if it did, only those rich fellas can afford it and they wouldn't ask inside my little stores." It was a downside to his inconspicuous storefronts and he has not had many solutions to it.

"However, they aren't much of toy designers now as I decided it was best that they serve in prop making. They are still making the Mr. Smile toys and Smith figurines but they are also the team that made your prop designs come alive while we were on set."

Alexander nodded in understanding and inwardly praised his grandfather's strategy that led to another stone being able to hit many birds. They were able to foster their creativity, ensure their job continuation, and have another job description altogether.

"Given that you are asking about toys, is this another movie project or a true step forward into the toy-making industry?" Sullivan was intrigued and had to pause his attention from his plate.

"As we planned, grandpa! It would be about film and toys. It just so happens that the next few scripts I've made are completely centered around these props and I wanted a designer's opinion if it was feasible." The boy reiterated his involvement in their company dynamic, his spoon was once again used as a teaching stick to firm his point.

Old Sullivan could only chuckle at his grandson's reenactment of a lecturing teacher. "If you're just testing for prop feasibility, why bother them and directly head to me regarding these matters? I own a toy company and I basically decide whether a toy is worth developing or not."

"Since you say so, why don't I show you my plans whenever you have time?"

"There would be no problem after this dinner." Sullivan was eager for another collab work with the little one. "I am not too busy now as the distribution company is already in full completion. They are already playing the Kid Psychic trailer during film intermissions at their contracted theaters so the movie is fairly well-known in the public."

"Woah! I didn't know that was happening. How was the response for the trailer?" Alexander finally had another medium of anxiety release and he was gripping his spoon from the uncertainty.

"Well, I am not too sure what the people really think about the upcoming movie but the theatre company was adamant enough to tell me that our little trailer is pretty... unique!" Sullivan really had no idea how to judge the situation. "At least, the ticket booth people say that your trailer did not fail in getting people's attention. It would continue to be screened until the release date and by virtue of accumulation, it is already in an upwards trajectory."

"In my opinion, things are already looking up for us." Sullivan had a smile on his face when he said that. He also consulted Mark about these recent findings the directorial son was already jumping for joy when his film became recognized by moviegoers.

Alexander was also somewhat appeased by the ambiguity but was also questioned whether the high-quality trailer method is even considered high quality in the 70s.

In a world... was too popular.

The most optimistic thing that he got from the news of the trailer being disseminated is that the movie is really at its registration mark.

It was only the schedule that was stopping the film from taking to the tracks and starting its race.

Film wasn't really gambling on what horse would dominate the track but it surely felt greatly similar to it.

His entire family wagered high on it and they could only have their fingers crossed and hope it would perform as they wished and hoped it would.

Their dinner eventually ended and the brunt of the plate washing was left for Old Sullivan.

While he was doing his housework quota, young Alex fetched his notes and brought them forward for review. It was already a month or so since the cinematic slash extended universe planning and he had accumulated impressive artwork for his presentation.

Old Sullivan looked at the top page and was confused that it was only a mannequin shaped like an old and somewhat beer-bellied man. The other mannequin's physique reminded him of any average young man, quite tall and janky.

He shuffled to the next pages and realized that it was just a more intricately-detailed drawing of limbs correlating to the two mannequin figures.

Just as he was about to ask for its purpose, the next page he glimpsed made him stop. The limbs and the full figures were still familiar but the symmetrical cutting of it could be observed.

Old Sullivan was concerned that his grandson might be turning into the concept of butchering humans and dividing their meat for food. After all, they just had dinner and he couldn't help but associate one with the other.

Fortunately, he remembered that the next pages would surely enlighten his preconceived judgment and it expectedly did.

Those symmetrical linings were hatches or outer openings and something futuristic and mechanical was being revealed. Those human forms were meant to be shells hiding something inexplicable inside. What shocked him, even more, was the picture of the head disassembling into different places!

It helped that Alexander made use of colors to illustrate the effect he was going for. The old man's shell had a blue interior while the young man's shell had a red hue to it.

The boy already had plans to go bolder for his next special effects project and made plans for cyborg Inuyashiki to replace Terminator as the initiator of the cyborg craze.

"So, grandpa! Is this possible?!"

I'll have you know that this is impossible... I think...

Clearly, I went all fantastical when I went and wrote this version of the story!

This is just going to be plain horrendous, silly, and more disgusting than my main trashy work.

You've been warned!
