Papyrus

Back at the house, Holly was lying in bed half asleep. She'd been tired out from the trip all the way from Snowdin through Waterfall, Hotland and the Core to get to the door, then all the way back. Sans said that because Papyrus kept complaining that Sans didn't walk more and get exercise, he wouldn't teleport and force herself and Pap to walk with him. Sans was tired as well and fell asleep on the floor.

All of a sudden, Papyrus strode in looking annoyed, "SANS GET UP!"

The sleepy skeleton opened an eye socket and peered over to him, "hey bro"

"GET UP, YOU NEED TO WORK AGAIN!" Sans opened his mouth to reply but Pap cut him off, "I DON'T CARE IF YOU'RE TIRED FROM THE TRIP!"

"Give him a break, jeez." Holly said, rolling her eyes.

"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME…?" he muttered, threateningly.

"I said give him a break, you forced him to do exercise and now he's tired. You can't just go immediately from lazy straight to energetic. Give. Him. A break."

Papyrus paused for a moment, staring in awe at a small human child that dared oppose the great Papyrus. He was filled with rage, "YOU SAVED A GIRL THAT WAS THREATENING THE MONSTER RACE! SHE SHOULD'VE BEEN KILLED. LIKE YOU WILL BE NOW!" he yelled.

With that, a bone was summoned, piercing through the mattress and through Holly's chest. She gasped for air, Sans running over to her defensively. But Pap didn't stop there, more bones propelled themselves towards her weak body, they didn't hit though. For some reason they stopped inches away from her. Neither Sans nor his angered brother payed attention to it though, Sans had summoned a gaster blaster and fired it towards his own brother. Papyrus stood in shock, the levitated bones crumbling like his own body was, "BROTHER? YOu – YoU KilleEd me…"

After a few more seconds, the former skeleton was now just a pile of dust on the floor. Sans stood mortified, "i did…", he fell to his knees thinking he had lost the two most important people in his life.

The villagers from outside had heard the commontion and began watching, they'd the sentry skeleton kill his sibling.

Holly coughed some words, "No… he won't die…"

Sans stood, still crying, and prepared to yell at her that it was her fault and that Pap was already dead but… her gloved right hand was glowing green. She rose it to point at the ground next to Papyrus, his dust began glowing as well. The sad skeleton stared in awe, confused about what was happening. The on-lookers stared in horror. Holly began quietly screaming as her 1HP began reducing into decimals. Papyrus's remains started reforming into a recognisable body.

Holly HP was now 0.01 and the once dead monster was now at 0.1HP.

"papyrus!" Sans yelled, running towards him.

The human girl slightly laughed to herself then said, "He wasn't dying on my watch…"

Sans looked back up at her, "how…? thank you…"

Holly laughed again before passing out.

Lifting her head from her slumber, Holly noticed the hole in her chest was no longer there. She looked around the room again, Sans was there, talking to a goat lady.

"thanks again for healing her, pap still doesnt know why she healed him, let alone how" Sans said.

"No problem my comedic friend, anytime." the female replied.

The skeleton noticed Holly awake, "heya kid, you okay? did tori here help ya? youve been in acoma for 3 years…"

She replied, quite exhausted still, "Yeah, I feel great and three years? Oh my god…"

"yeah, we thought you were dead, but tori has been looking after you"

"Hello dear, I'm Toriel." The goat lady said, "Sans called me here to heal you, and I did. However, we both have a question, how did you give some of your health to Papyrus?"

"Uh… I don't know, I think I also stopped his attacks from hitting me, I saw my hand… or not so hand… start glowing green, so it's probably because of when I saved you" she pointed to Sans.

"i guess it probably is… but i didnt think a human could get powers…?" he said, confused.

"Hang on lemme try something…" she concentrated on one spot near her hand, all of a sudden a small, pale white bone spawned, "Woh! It worked! I wonder…"

Closing her eyes again, two Gaster Blasters were created, Holly yelled excitedly, "This is epic, although I wonder why I can't spawn more?"

While they were all in confusion, a weird noise came from around Holly, it was knocking.

She paused, it was out of the game, in real life.
