The thing in the dark
She stood there as everything went silent ,even that scary footsteps faded away.
The pain in her chest remained .she couldn't breath at all.
Suddenly everything around her went still and the darkness swallowed her.
The footsteps came towards her .
A long shadow figure watched her ,eyes red as blood , skin pale as the ashes ,it's like no sunshine touched him .
He bend trying to sense her pulse ,like an electric shock ,he took his hand away fast.
" How..how is this possible..she ..she a mere women be my link ? " The man asked as his expressionless eyes showed a little ripple .
He turned around trying to leave,but paused mid way.
" Stupid link " he said before turning around and going towards the unconscious girl .
He carried her like she weights nothing before disappearing into nothing.

Jason received a call about his ex wife's passing,and he started panicking,he was sad .
After all she was his wife of 10 years .
The entire city knew about the death of the city's business man. Jason was a successful businessman.

Jason called Shelly.
" Hello Shelly , did you see the news of my wife's passing? "
Sadness was evident on Jason's voice which annoyed Shelly .
" Yes I saw the News of your ex wife " Shelly said ex wife ,to remind Jason that they were no longer a thing.
" She ..she ..she is dead...my wife is dead" suddenly he started sobbing,all he felt was pain and guilt .
