Chapter 5

Tianxin stubbornly stared at the boy in front of her, "I'm not jealous, you're jealous of him," whispered the people around them. At that moment, everyone turned to look at them. The boy couldn't take the humiliation and stood up, staring at Tianxin with ill intentions, "I'm jealous of him? What a joke! I have better grades than him."

"You are jealous," Tianxin repeated, clenching her hands tightly and staring at the boy with her big eyes.

"Who's jealous?" the boy tried to defend himself, but Tianxin repeated, "You are jealous." The boy's face turned pale with anger. He picked up his utensils and left. After he left, Tianxin slumped in her chair, her hand holding the chopsticks shaking.

In the corner of the cafeteria, a boy recorded everything that just happened and sent it to Yan Heng through a video message. "Is this your little fangirl?" Qi Yue couldn't believe that he could witness such a drama in the cafeteria. Yan Heng still had his charm, attracting young girls like moths to a flame.

Yan Heng sat in the classroom, looking at the lunch box on his desk, feeling no appetite. He heard his phone ring and saw that it was a video message from Qi Yue. "Who is this little fangirl?" Yan Heng asked as he watched the video.

"Liufeng," Qi Yue replied.

Yan Heng had some impression of Liufeng. In middle school, Liufeng had a girlfriend who broke up with him to gain his favor. Liufeng got into a fight with Yan Heng, lost, and they had no further contact. Yan Heng didn't care about the rumors that Liufeng spread behind his back.

Qi Yue waited for a while but didn't get a response. He cursed, "What an arrogant guy! He doesn't care about his little fangirl?" With such a beautiful girl defending him, how could Yan Heng not be moved? "Aren't you worried about your little fangirl? Liufeng holds grudges."

"I don't care," Yan Heng replied, typing the message and turning off his phone. He threw his lunch box into the trash and went to buy bread and milk at the nearby store.

Zhu Ting looked at Tianxin and said, "You scared me just now. What if he had hit you? And why are you defending Yan Heng? Besides, you can't control what they say."

"I don't know," Tian Xin's heart was still racing. She had been too impulsive just now and didn't know where the courage came from to stand up to the boy. "I just couldn't stand him being bullied like that. And I believe in Yan Heng. He's a good person."

Zhu Ting shook her head and said, "I don't understand you. But be careful next time. Don't be so impulsive."

Tian Xin nodded and took a deep breath. She knew that she had to be more careful in the future. She couldn't let her emotions get the best of her.
