Chapter Four

Sitting down on the floor of her living room, she sighed dejectedly, nothing serious had come up after waiting the whole day. Nothing out of the blue had happened to create a misunderstanding.

"I never knew you could be so boring, my idol" she whispered to the photos attached to the wall.

She looked down at her phone and almost immediately a call came in not what she was actually expecting, upon seeing the caller ID she frowned.

It was Scarlett calling making the memory of their argument the had this afternoon pop into her head. Scar had clearly told her not to give a spin on Ian, clearly discouraging her about such thought but she was still bent on that one person.

It wouldn't hurt to just spread some fake news , what where they all afraid off, she couldn't believe scar walked out on her for such a petty thing.

She decided to delay picking the call before answering on its last ring.

"Ophelia I was damn worried about you, where have you been? I'm so sorry about what happened earlier. I decided not to discourage you but support you like bestie's do. I called to check on your progress" Scar asked after so much in one breath.

"Calm down scar, I forgive you and for the job" she strained the last word before she broke down.

"Nothing seems to work out in my favor"

Well that came out too emotional than expected.

"Then find someone else your my bestie, you can never be defeated" Scar said tactically, she was still trying to convince her

When Ophelia noticed this she rolled her eyes before frowning, nope she fancied this one.

Just then a notification popped up on her phone and Ophelia face beamed with bright smiles.

Dream come true!

"Don't worry something important will come up!" She said, her words filled with enthusiasm.

"Alright I believe. Good night, love ya!"

No reply???

"Ophelia I'm hanging up now?" Scar said calmly and Ophelia finally stopped dreaming.

"Ah wait, take a leave for me tomorrow, would you? I'll be super busy on something tomorrow" Ophelia asked nicely.

"Sure, of that's it I'm sleepy now"

"Night scar!"

Ophelia sat on her bed happily as she read the notification, it seemed like she was going to a banquet tomorrow.
