The bright grin—the first genuinely happy smile that he had seen—that lit up Jamie's face, however, let him know that there weren't a lot of better ways.
Jamie had simply adored the new furniture that Maddy had used to replace the old furniture in the guest room. The bed had been a big hit; replacing the single frame, a crib like structure had been issued. It had bars that slid up and down, letting it become either a crib or a normal bed. Jamie had slept in it as a crib. He had seemed happier with it like that.
