Arrogant Jerk and a Bad Day!

Bai Xi's Pov:

"I know who you are and just not me , everyone knows who you are. Your identity is exactly not hidden." I told him confidently while still looking in his eyes.

His stare bore chills down me and I almost caved under the pressure but I managed to maintain my stare and he looked away.

I sighed inwardly and took a gulp oof water , cause I am feeling thirsty after the intense staredown we just had.

He opened his mouth to say something but at the last moment shut it and instead glared , facing the window.

"My marriage is not what it looks like." he gave a pause before continuing, "It was my late grandfather's wish and there is nothing between me and my wife.", he spoke earnestly.

I didn't respond to any of that , just said, "At the end you are still married and I don't go for the married ones. I don't want to be the other women."

He just pursed him lips and said nothing to that.

"Check". he called the waiter for check in a biting tone .

I took out my phone to pay atleast half of the bill but his glare turned towards me and my phone and if possible it intensified more.

I put it back inside and instead started looked around the restaurant.

"Don't think this is over. We are far from over!" He said after the waiter went away with a generous tip, making a shiver shoot through me.

I looked at him again to see him looking at me so intensely that goosebumps appeared on my skin and I felt a little scared.

I gulped uneasily and opened my mouth to reprimand him but before I can say anything he stood up and towered over me , his both hands flat on the table and he bend down so his eyes are in level with my eyes and said slowly but firmly, "You sweetheart, You—Are—Mine".

He said it with a certainty that made me feel goosebumps all over.

He paused and then continued , "Have a good last few days of freedom while you can. And...I always get what I want and by any means!" He smirked arrogantly before he dived and took my lips in his mouth and sucked on them hard.

I sat still as he released them and then bit on my lower lip , I yelped and he took advantage of the situation and put his tongue inside my mouth. He sucked on my lower lip and then my upper lip.

He pulled back and said , "For good luck!"

He brushed a thumb on my lower lip and said ," See you soon, Sweetheart! Miss me!!"

He was smirking as he got out of the booth and waved at me one last time before getting away.

God this man and his arrogance , it sure doesn't detour him. Damn him and his smile!!!

I pondered over all that he said and it is actually scary to think about what he said.

Oh gosh why am I stuck in this whirl of situation which is not in my favor at all. Damn this guy and his stupid smile.

I mulled over it some more and it seems that I am not getting anywhere with it. So I got up and left the restaurant as it is almost time for my train.

I cursed him again for the umpteenth time and hailed a taxi to the train station.

I am totally exhausted by the time I reach A city . I was not able to sleep properly in the train and now I am feeling more drained than I was.

It is almost midnight and finding a taxi right now would be a challenge. I sighed and got out of the train station and looked around. I hardly find any taxi , considering the hour.

This day just could not get any worse!

I was looking around and turned to the side, when suddenly an old man got in front of me from God knows where and exclaimed quietly ,"Let's go Bai Xi , the car is parked that way!" The old man said , took my bag and strolled away.

I stood there gobsmacked , and maybe still sleepy as I can't believe what just happened.

The man stopped walking and trotted back to me , too fast for a man of his age. He stopped in front of me and said , "Hey Bai Xi , what's up with you? Why are you standing there like a fool? Did you lose your brain cells?", He looked confused as he gave me a once over and said , "No, I think you look alright. What's the matter with you?"

I finally found my voice and asked him with a suspicious tone, "Who are you? Do I know you?"

The man looked utterly speechless and than confused and then proud of himself as he said, "You didn't recognise me? I must have really outdone myself this time. It's me SHEN YUE" he excitedly pointed at himself and I face palmed myself.

Now my bad day was missing only this character and here he is, Idiot.

"What are you doing here and what the hell are you wearing?" I barked at him and gave his assemble a once over and I have to admit this disguise is better than his previous failed ones.

Failed because every single time, he was easily recognised within minutes of it, by his self proclaimed die hard fans. He is an actor and has huge massive army of fans who follow him everywhere. He has never been able to pull any disguise because his fans recognises him every single time.

This is the very first time , he was able to pull it off. But maybe this depended on his choice of disguise , which is an extremely ugly looking old man.

Even his fans will have to think twice before cracking through this.

Anyways, "How did you even know about my arrival?" I asked him as I pulled my handbag up and move along to the way he said his car was parked.

Atleast I found a car ride. Phew!
