The rest of the school day was smooth. The ride back was quite mostly because they are tired. I rest my head on the cool glass of the limo. When we get back I head for my room. When I set my stuff down, I noticed a letter on my bed.

If it is what you say you should keep it. The girl can't have it I understand how it sounds but it is for her safety. Zero has moved on to Yuki. I don't think you should worry about hurting him anymore. I am sorry sweetheart I know how you must be feeling but this is for the best. I love you Lilly see you soon.

I stand there stunned. He just moved on that quickly? Did he always have a thing for her? Did I mean nothing to him? These and more questions were running threw my head. I didn't realize someone came in the room. That is till a pair of arms wrapped around me. It was Shu he was quiet just holding me. "He moved on it feels to quick. How can he do that?" I asked trying my hardest not to cry,but try as I might I broke. He turned me around my face in his chest. "He is a fool to do this to you. No man vampire or not is worth anything if he hurts you. It is taking everything for me to not hunt him down and make him suffer. But I wouldn't because I would never do anything to hurt you. " he said before picking me up taking me to my bed and just cuddled with me. I felt better having someone here. I fell asleep in his arms.

Shu pov

I lay there holding her watching her sleep. I know it was wrong to have her father lie to her. This is what needs to happen so she can choose. I hope she picks me. She would be a queen and treated as such.

Time skip

Walking the ground was relaxing. I pull the cross out of my pocket and look at it. If I train her how to use this the brothers would die. I have thought of several scenarios and all end bad. I stop when I sense a few vampires. They aren't like the sakamaki brothers. There are four of them Male and were turned into vampires not born. "Listen boys you really don't want any of this." I said before running forward. They start to chase me so they wanna play. I cut my finger and smeared blood on the ruby. I turn lanching the chain at them. I grazed one of them I could see he was blonde.

"Son of a bitch no one said she was a hunter." He yelled holding his arm. "I did say you don't want any of this ,and I ment it. now who are you,and what do you want?" I asked glaring at them. "You will know soon enough filthy hunters." One of them said. "You must like pain if you cut yourself." Ok one is a creep. "All we want is Eve thats it." One said this one had a book. "You know I hate when people hide their faces. So can you step into the light?" I was getting annoyed at this point.

They laughed then disappeared. "Ok that's not good." I said before turning the wip back to a Cross. My hand was slightly burned. Ok note to self use as last resort. This is why the blood weapons were banned dumbass. I sighed and walked back into the manner. Ayato sees my hand and grabbed it. "What happened?" He looked concerned. "Four vampires were after me. They are not like you and your brothers. They were at one point human. I used the cross and this is the price of a blood weapon." I said but then he takes me to the kitchen. "Place your hands over the sink." He said softly. I do as he said only to have his blood poured over them. My burn slowly healed up. He kissed my cheek. "Never be afraid to come to us for this ok. We are here for you." He said holding me. You know if Zero threw us away so quickly, then why mope about it? I have six vampires to choose from as sick as that sounds. I must be one of the few that go for that. I lean back into his chest accepting his affection.
