Your office

I was stiff as his hot breath blew into my ear and on my neck.

'What is this? Why is he doing this to me'?

The workers who had bowed to greet him suddenly began to whisper amongst each other when he was gone.

"Who is she"?

"Oh Lord, I wish that was me"?

"Who could have thought that the cold president could look that sexy and romantic"?

"Oh please he has always been sexy".

"I can still see his long neck when he bent towards her. Oh my goodness"!!

Most of the conversations were amongst ladies but even men spoke about the 'never seen side' of their boss.

As I followed him to his office, I just kept wondering.

'How rich can one person be'?

My eyes kept wandering around but I tried as much as possible to act natural.

We were about to get to his office when a woman ran towards him and knelt before him.

I kept looking at the woman who was currently kneeling, begging, and crying her eyes out.

"Please Mr O'Brien, please just one more chance. I'd never do it again".

She looked like she was about to die but Jason didn't even look at her. His bodyguards came over and took her away from Jason's leg and he walked away to his office.

I didn't know what was happening so I decided it would be best to keep my thoughts to myself.

Jason had an expressionless look but the air around him felt so cold. It felt like he was about to freeze anything or anyone around him and break them to pieces.

I stood a bit far from his desk but then, he raised his head and looked at me.

"What are you doing there"?

He asked and I looked at him not saying anything.

"Come closer".

It felt like I was processing what he had just said because I took my time before walking closer to him.

By now, I was right in front of his desk and he just kept looking at me with that deep blue eyes of his that looked like it had no end.

With my head bowed, I was trying my best to figure out what he was thinking about right now but then, he asked an unexpected question.

"Are you scared of me"?

As soon as I heard that question, I raised my head to look at him and it might have just been my imagination, but it almost felt like I saw sadness in his eyes.

I shook my head showing that I wasn't scared of him. To be honest, I wasn't scared of Mr Jason. I was only cautious.

He looked like a man that was not to be messed with. He looked like a man who could ruin you and the rest of your generation without having to kill you. He looked like someone who would make you beg for death but would make you live longer in agony instead.

I didn't want to have anything to do with such a man plus, I was here against my will. He bought me against my will. There was no way on earth that he was actually expecting me to like him.

"I am not scared of you Sir".

"But you don't like me"?

He asked again and this time around, I couldn't answer his question. I was very good at lying but to this man, I didn't want to lie.

Though I didn't want to lie, I still didn't know how to tell him that I didn't like him so bluntly. So, I decided to just be quiet about it.

And then, for the first time, I heard him scoff. A side of his lips raised and his eyes were slightly closed.

"It's fine, I already know you don't like me. I'm just glad you didn't lie about it".

This is the longest I've heard him speak and even though he didn't speak for long and had an expressionless face on as he spoke, it was still something different.

He made a quick call and the lady he assigned to teach me all I needed to know about being a PA walked in.

He then picked up a document and began working on it.

"You may leave".

He said without looking at me which made me feel he was probably mad about my previous reaction.

I didn't ask anything and just went with the lady.

The lady did look elegant and the way she spoke made me know that she was very smart.

I am not very educated, but I am very smart and I learn very fast. I'm also very observant so I knew for a fact that I would be able to learn whatever it was I needed to learn in no time.

"You'll have to be fast and focused if you'd be working for Mr O'Brien. He hates people who are not willing to do their jobs well".

She said and paused to look at me with a serious expression.

"And when I say well, I mean... very... well".

She emphasized on the fact that he likes things being done perfectly and I definitely got the gist.

She showed me a few things around the company and after an hour or there about, I was called back to Jason's office.

When I got to his office, he raised his face to see who had walked in. I must admit, every time I see him, I see a new part of him. He was putting on a glass and looking at me through the glasses with his sleeves rolled up and some buttons opened. He looked extremely smart and classy.

"You are back".

He said as he stood up and I bowed. He then walked towards his coffee making machine and made two cups of coffee. He asked me to sit on a couch in his office and he also sat on another after handing me a cup of coffee.

"Thank you".

I said but he didn't bother to reply. After we had taken a few sips, he spoke again.

"Has she shown you everything you need to know"?

He asked and I nodded before responding.

"Yes... I mean, yes Sir".

I immediately corrected myself. He nodded and took a few sips again with his glasses still beautifully placed on his face. I remembered something and spoke again.

"Ahh, there is one thing I do not know Sir".

He dropped his cup and looked at me.

"She didn't show me my office".

I said hoping he'd tell me.

"This is your office".
