TASK COMPLETION REWARD

BANG!

Zeva and Lia opened the door with a bang, their eyes shining with expectancy for the unexpected.

And when they looked in the room, the wide smile on their faces, slowly got smaller, and smaller, and smaller. And soon, their expressions turned into a grim, blank one.

Where? Where was their reward?

Everything looked just the same.

Zeva turned to look at Lia and raised her brow asking, "Miss little system manager? Where is my 'Materialistic possession' reward? Didn't you tell me that it is usually given at my place? And I don't think I live anywhere else except here!"

Lia scratched her head and tightly pressing her lips together, she then said, "Yes, it should be delivered here according to regulations. And it is usually given as soon as the task is completed. Even, I don't understand what happened."

Zeva's mood completely plumped down hearing this. And her face shrinked. She tsked and said, "Who knows if the system has delivered it in the wrong address, or even better this is all a stupid prank or fallacy!"

Saying so, she dejectedly went towards her bedroom from the living room. Right now, after the very long day, all she wanted to do was fall on her bed and get lost in the world of sleep.

Lia too frowned as she wondered where things might have gone wrong. Even this was her first attempt and she is new to all this too. Should she contact the system helpline of Solara to know if there was any trouble in the dispatchment of the reward that was to received? Lia contemplated.

But then Lia sighed and shook her head. But at first, she was very tired! Her body needs some good food and drinks. Her little body is starved and dehydrated for the last long one hour!

Thinking so, she rushed towards the refrigerator. And she climbed up a tool. And just when she opened, "!!!!" The sight in front of her left stunned in shock. And the next second, that made her scream on top of her lungs,

"Aaahhhhh!!!"

"AAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

And what very closely followed the little girl's scream was the big girl's sheirk.

Lia jumped down the tool and rushed to the bedroom whwere Zeva was to give her the big news of what she saw. While, Zeva had also come rushing to the bedroom door, where they both met each other heaving. "You won't believe what I saw!" They both said in unison!

"There in the bed…"

"There in the fridge…" Both of them again spoke in unison.

Then Lia showed her little palm to Zeva and said, "Wait! I am younger! So little one first!" Zeva did not saw anything as she was in her own world of utter shock.

"There, the refrigerator is full of our favourite blueberry ice cream, chocolates and a lots and lots of other snacks. Even all the kitchen racks are full." Lia said with suppressed excitement. Now, that is a complete different fact that Zeva's favourite flavour of ice cream has also tuned Lia's favourite ice cream.

She then with sparkingly eyes said, "I think that is our reward."

Zeva on hearing this, her eyebrows raised a little and eyes lit up. But her expression was not exactly like what Lia hoped it to be.

Her forehead formed a little frown and she said, "What? Why do you not look so happy? You must come and see how much yummy food and snacks have we received. For the first task reward, it is not bad at all!" Lia tried to cheer her up, thinking that Zeva must have not been satisfied by the reward.

But the very next second, she remembered something and asked her, "But why did you scream too?"

Zeva, who was still in half trance looked at Lia and robotically shook her head and said, "I think, that was not the only reward that we received." Zeva said.

"What? What do you mean by that?" Lia asked in confusion.

"Come," Zeva said as she turned on her heel and guided Lia to the bed, and removed the big blanket from over the bed, and they next second,

"Aeeeoohhhhhh!!!" This time the little girl shouted again, and her shierk was louder than the one last time. Lia's eyes were on the very verge of falling of her eye sockets.

"T.. Th… This!" She turned to Zeva with unimagined joy and disbelief on her face, while Zeva too turned her head at her and nodded with bubbling happiness.

In the huge queen size bed was spread lots and lots of buddles of money. Lots of money. CASSHHHH!!!

Zeva's and Lia's bodies received goosebumps seeing this, and Lia shudderingly asked, "Is this real money? The one used on this world? By adults?" And not toy money played by children?

Zeva literally had tears of joy in her eyes, as she nodded her head and said, "Ofcourse, yes! I checked it myself!!"
