Olive stared at me. "I-i thought the agreement was over. Y-you didn't show up when it was two months"

I smiled. Good, she thought it was the ruthless alpha. When I first walked in and saw her been tied up. Hands, legs, mouth tied and face covered in black cloth, I was so furious. And has to speak in my alpha tune. When I remembered, Olive knows not alpha's voice so well, I quickly adjusted back to my ruthless alpha's voice.

She stood up. "D-did you kidnap me for that?"

I rolled my eyes. She seems to have gotten her courage back. I turned. "You must be hungry. I will ask them to prepare something nice for you. You can eat after you take your bath"

"I-i don't want to eat anything. I just want to return to the fire pack. They will be so worried about me"

"You don't have to worry. I have sent a message to them. They know you are safe"

"But..."

"No but. Do as I say. We have a lot to talk about". I turned. "Except you don't want to return home today"

She batted her lashes. "I want to"

I nodded. "Good. Now follow me"

I got to the door and turned to the left. There was a passage that leads to the main house. The warehouse was just a cover-up of the main house. I got to the door and input the password. The door opened and I turned. Though I could hear Olive footsteps as I walked down to this door, I had to turn to be sure she was following. She stared at ne and then turned to the left. I sighed and continue walking. stopped halfway and pointed to a door. "You should go in. Your food will be brought to you"

She nodded and walked past me. I was tempted to call her back and tell her it's me, Nolan. I wanted to tell her how sorry I was to have punched the boy for staring at her. For admiring her beauty. I hated the fact that she smiles at every other guy but not me. I hated the fact that she doesn't talk about me like she talks about the ruthless alpha. I hate to see her smile when news about the ruthless alpha saving people is been spread. Though I am the ruthless alpha. I hated that she couldn't love me for who I am but for who I had to be. How much I had always wished to hold her. My wolf longed for her touch but she wouldn't let me. Because she considered me weak. I stared at her go into the room and the door closed behind her. I sighed and entered the next room. I pulled off my mask and sat down.

I brushed my hair backward. "Olive" I cooed. "When will you learn to love me and not the ruthless part of me?". I stood up and walked to the mirror. I watched myself for a while and sighed. I feel so guilty right now, kidnapping her. Kidnapping her wasn't what I wanted but I saw that as the only way to keep her safe. When she left the packhorse due to the little argument between us, I wasn't worried. I felt she was going to come back to the packhouse. But when Ella told me Olive can not control her anger and might go rogue I became worried. I wasn't sure what Ella told me was real and I knew I needed to find her and keep her close until her anger subsidized. I was afraid she might hurt the people she meets on the road. So I made a call with Martins to send some boys in search of her and make sure she is safe.

"Boss, Olive is ready to talk to you," Martins said

I sighed. It's been over two hours since I have been sitting and waiting for Olive. I picked my mask up and wore it. I can not risk her knowing my real Identity. "Send her in"

"Yes, boss". There was silence for a moment or two and then the door opened. Olive walked in, dressed in a blue dress. I was startled by her dress. It was a surprise to me, to see her dressed that way. I can remember vividly that she only dressed like a female when we have to go to work. She does that with a lot of complaints. I had to wonder why she dressed this way. "I'm here," she said

I adjusted myself and pointed at the couch. "You can sit over there". She went to sit down while I tried to find the best word to start with. At first, I had thought I will find the right word when the time comes but right now, I just realized I wasn't prepared enough. She stared at me and then at the floor. I groaned silently. What do I have to say?. I should have just let her stay in her room. "You said we have a lot to talk about" she spoke up

I nodded. The first thing that had attracted me to her before the mate stuff was her boldness. I can still remember how she had fought with those rogues that had attacked me that day. A day I couldn't take off my mind, so matter how much I tried. She saved my life when I least expected it and had saved my life so many times too. I smiled. Good thing she won't be able to detect my facial expression or reaction. I cleared my throat. Now I need my courage. My fearless. "Let's start with the update. Have you accepted your mate?"

She batted her lashes and then she stopped and began to stare at me. Her eyes bore into mine. From her look, I wanted to believe she has found me out. She blinked and then sighed. "I-i haven't"

I sighed. she hasn't found me out yet. "Did you reject him completely?"

She shook her head. "No"

"Why"

She sighed. "I-1 couldn't"

I smiled. "Why can't you?. Because you love him?". I expected a yes from her but her answer was a shocker to me.

She laughed. "Noo. I don't love him"

"You don't?"

She nodded. "I don't. He's weak and he is a jealous freak"

I batted my lashes. Did she just call me weak and a jealous freak?. I frowned but had to keep my cool. I needed to get every information she has on how she feels about me and if I want to, I will have to play the fool. Pretend not to be hurt, even though it does hurts to hear her say those words. And make her believe I'm with her. "I noticed that"

She furrowed her brows. "You did?"

I nodded. "I have watched you save him so many times"

She sighed. "I have no choice"

"You've got so many choices. You decided to save. That can only me you love him"

She rolled her eyes. "No, I don't love him. I just can't watch him get hurt. He has passed through a lot. Lost his parent, got attacked by rogues, became the alpha at eighteen, and have to run both the pack and his company. I knew he needed help". My eyelids dropped in disbelief. I never thought she was helping because she thought I needed help. She sighed. "That's the main reason I left my pack for his"

I batted my lashes. Another shocker. "You did not leave your pack because you wanted to work?"I couldn't hide my surprise

She must have noticed the surprise because she stared at me for a while before answering. "Yes. Why would she leave her pack for mine and even accept to work for me, just because she thinks I need help?. "I won't have to worry about him being hurt" she added and my anger melted.

Everything she had been doing was for my safety. I rolled my eyes. She doesn't want to see me hurt but right now her words were hurting my heart. I sighed. "That was good of you, Olive. I am sure he appreciates". She only stared at me but said nothing.

I stood up. "What's your next plan?". She furrowed her brows. "I mean what do you plan to do with him". "Nolan. You haven't rejected him and you're not ready to accept him. Don't you think you have to make a move?. If he is weak like you said, his wolf will be hurt"

She sighed. "I feared his wolf might die if I reject him"

I rolled my eyes. Like you care. "Then accept him"

She stood up. "I can't"

I frowned. What's her problem?. "Why?"

She walked closer to me and held my hands. I furrowed my brows. Wondering what she was trying to do. She smiled. "Because I love you"

I batted my lashes and pulled my hand away from her. Did she just say she loves me?. Sorry, she said she loves the ruthless alpha. I groaned. She loves him!!. Why didn't I notice this all this while?. The way she smiles whenever his name was mentioned. I growled. Though I am the ruthless alpha, I couldn't accept the fact that she loves me because she thought I was someone else. Because of my ruthless attribute. I sighed. If loving me as the ruthless alpha will make her happy. I will have to keep the truth from her.
