His Crazy Luna

Nolan lost his parent and was attacked by some Rogues. He was saved by a group of warriors, led by a young girl in a mask. He could feel the connection and is sure she's his mate. She left before he could say a word. A few years later, he became the ruthless and most feared alpha, and yet he is the kindest of all alpha. How he kept both characteristics were unknown to many. Nobody knows him as the ruthless alpha because of his mask. He was gentle in the money and ruthless at night. The only thing that connected him to his ruthless self is the fact that they both have no mate. What happens when fate brought him and his mate together and he got rejected by her. She doesn't love him but she is madly in love with the ruthless alpha. ** I smirked. "So, funny you're my mate" She hissed. "And so?" I batted my lashes. This girl has got guts. I hid my anger already building up. I lean on her locker and she growled. I smirked. I love to see her get angry. "That makes you mine" She chuckled but suddenly stopped. She folded her hands and glared at me. "And who told you that?" "I know so. You've been chosen as my mate by the moon goddess" She laughed. "Sorry to burst your bubbles mister, I reject you!!". I batted my lashes. Did she just reject me in public?. She turned to leave. I watched her walk away and I stood rooted to a spot. It's so surprising I got rejected by my mate. Male alphas are known to reject their mates but in my case, I am the alpha who got rejected by his mate.

NOLAN

I opened my eyes wondering where I was. Everything in the room seems strange. The last thing I remembered was falling after being stabbed. And it was in the middle of a thick bush and not on a cozy bed. I could perceive Olive's perfume and I knew immediately that I was back home. The room was becoming familiar too. How did I get into my room? I thought. Did someone bring me back? I mean Martin, did he bring me back?. Why...

Olive stood up from the bed, jolting back to reality. I held her hand when I realized she was about to leave. I could feel her hand, shaking vigorously. I knew she was so angry but why I couldn't tell. "Olive," I called. "It's good to see you again"

She sat beside me and held my hand. "It's nice to see you too. I'm so happy you're back. I thought I have lost you". She was crying and I wondered why. Did she miss me so badly?. Or she thought something bad must have happened to me?

I smiled at her. "I thought I will never see you again too. That thought of losing you kept me alive". I was sincere with the words I said. When I was stabbed, I couldn't stop thinking about Olive. I had wondered how Olive will reaction if she finds out I was dead. I couldn't imagine dying without seeing her face. It would have been a painful death. I thought that was my last time on earth but I wanted to see Olive even if it's for the last time. I had to fight back and when I finally collapsed, I hoped to wake up seeing her face.

Seeing her face made me happy and I realized my life without her will be sorrowful. "How are you feeling now?" She asked

I was in pain but do not want to bother her. I could see from her eyes that she had so many sleepless nights. I couldn't imagine what it felt like for her when I was gone without a word, only to be back with injuries and in an unconscious state. I smiled wearily. "I-i am fine. Just a little pain"

"Should I get the doctor?" Sue asked in great concern

"No, I am fine. Can you get me a glass of water, please?"

She nodded. "Sure". She stood up to get it from the dispenser but I stopped her.

"I want some fruit too. Can you get that from the kitchen?"

She started at me and I could tell she was suspicious of something. I just woke up after bleeding for a long time. Getting me fruit shouldn't be the next option but getting a doctor so he could carry out some checkup. I knew she suspected I wanted her out of my room for some reason. She sighed. "I will get the fruit"

I smiled. "Thanks". I should be able to get a call across to Martin before she comes back.

She turned to leave but stopped. "Let me get you the glass of water first. I will also call the doctor on my way back. I think you need him right now"

I nodded, wondering if she said that to buy me more than cause she suspected I needed time alone or she thinks that's the right thing I needed now. I know Olive is a very smart girl and decided to opt for the first option. She must have suspected j need some time alone and had decided to give me that time without me suspecting that was the reason. I smiled. "Thanks, love"

I could see her blush but she quickly conceal it. "I ain't you love, ok?"

I placed my hand on my chest. "It hurts so badly. I can't believe I got rejected for the second time. Can't you just pretend to be my love until I am back to my feet? Can you see I am sick?"

She chuckled. "I will think about it but right now I need to go get the doctor and before I forget the fruit". She walked closer to me and pecked me. "Don't go missing before I come back"

I chuckled. "Don't worry, I will be here waiting for you. Just make sure you don't go away for too long or I might end up missing for the second time"

She frowned. "Don't you dare? You don't know what it feels like to have a sleepless night hoping you had come back soon"

I muttered an 'oh'. She had a sleepless night as I predicted. "Does that mean you love me?" I asked staring at her.

She frowned. "I don't love you, ok?. Having a sleepless night doesn't mean I love you. I was just worried..."

"About me?"

"No, about Nigel, Bella, and Ella. Even every other member of the pack was worried too. I was worried the pack will go into mourning if you don't show up soon. They were so worried about you and as your assistant, I couldn't worry less"

"You don't miss me then?" I asked

"I don't have any reason to miss you" she answered and walked out of the room. I smiled. I could tell she was trying to avoid eye contact with me. That was the reason she left in a hurry. I remembered I was supposed to call Martins but I couldn't find my phone close by. I groaned. I should have asked Olive before she left. The door opened and she walked in.

I stared at her. "Y-you are back?"

"Not really". She walked closer to my wardrobe and opened it. She brought out my phone and my face lightened up. "I just thought you might want to use your phone"

I smiled at her. "Can I ever love you less?"

She batted her lashes and I laughed. "This isn't your first time hearing that right?" She folded her arm. "From you, it's the first time but from others, it isn't"

I furrowed my brows. I couldn't tell if that was my first time saying those words or not. I couldn't remember much. She walked closer and handed over the phone to me. "Thanks," I said, smiling.

She nodded her head and turned. "I will go get you the fruit". I nodded and she left. Without wasting more time, I placed a call to Martin.

"Boss," he said from the other side of the phone

"Why did you bring me home?" I asked, curious to know. I had been wondering why he brought me back to the pack instead of the warehouse.

"You needed medical attention. And I found out everyone was worried about you. I thought, to bring you back home is the best option"

I sighed. "What did you tell me was wrong with me?"

"I told them you got into a fight with some thug and got stabbed in the process. I was able to save you and stop the bleeding. You've been with me for a day because you were unconscious. I brought you back when you opened your eyes and was able to tell me where you came from"

"They did not ask any further question?"

"No. They were happy I brought you home"

"Did Olive see you when you came in?"

"No. I was sure she wasn't close by"

I sighed. Olive knows Martin. He had followed the ruthless alpha so many times. She is a very smart girl. She can suspect so fact. "Thanks, Martins. Hope everyone is fine"

"Yes, boss. Everyone here is fine but is worried about you"

I smiled. It's a good thing they care about me. My smile faded when I remembered I got betrayed by one of them. I still do not understand why they kept betraying me. The fear of being betrayed had been one of the reasons I hide my real identity. Seeing my parent get betrayed by the ones they trust and got killed in the process, it became difficult to trust people. "I will see you when I get better. You send the rest home. Go home too and lay low until you get further instructions from me"

"Ok, boss. Take care of yourself"

"I will. You...". The door opened and Bella walked in with Nigel.

"Someone has finally woken up," she said running towards my direction. I ended the call before she got closer. She hugged me and I whined.

"My chest hurt" I groaned

She chuckled and sat down. "Sorry. I just miss you. I told I lost you"

I rolled my eyes. "You thought you lost me?. Were you wishing I die?"

She frowned. "Why would I wish that?. You're my cousin"

I chuckled. "Hey, you don't have to look at me that way. I was just joking"

"Don't joke with that"

I smiled. "Come on. I'm sorry, ok?"

She smiled. "I miss you"

"I miss you too"

Nigel walked closer. "It's good to have you back, man"

I nodded. "It's good to see you too"

The door opened and Olive walked in with a tray containing a glass of water and some fruit. "Someone is finally happy her love is back," Bella said

"Nolan is not my love" Olive answered dropping the tray on the table.

"I can't remember calling names. Except you knew I was talking to you" Bella said laughing. Nigel and I joined Bella to laugh. It's so funny how she tries to hide the fact that she's now in love with me.

Olive frowned. "Stop. It isn't funny"

The door opened and Ella walked in. "What isn't funny?". Everyone turned in her direction. She smiled. "Nolan. You're awake. That's good news". I nodded in agreement. It's a good thing I woke up. "Back to business. What isn't funny?"

"Nothing" Olive answered

"Olive here would not accept the fact that she's joyous that Nolan is back" Bella replied.

"I never said I wasn't happy"

"But you just denied it"

"No, I didn't"

"Yes, you did". I smiled. They seem not to suspect a thing about my disappearance. I watched them argue. They busted into a series of laughter and I joined. They talked and laugh with each other. I sighed. It's a good thing none of them doubted what Martin said and more importantly Olive doesn't seem to doubt too. I was worried she would suspect there was a lie in what she was told but thank goodness, she doesn't suspect a thing.
