Chapter Twenty-Five

I guess it was now or never. I've been sitting in my room for about half an hour listening to Nickolai move around in the kitchen. He's very light on his feet for such a big guy. Yesterday was the last day of my heat but Nickolai and I decided to put off this conversation for one more day and spend the day in bed doing things to each other that would give my mom a heart attack if she knew.

I couldn't put it off anymore though, now that the mating was complete Wynter will be able to communicate with her mate and she was dying too but I asked her to block our link to him until we talk and I explain a few things to him. I showed, put on some underwear and a bra with a pair of jeans shorts and one of Nickolai's T-shirts and left the room. It was almost summer and New York was already heating up so my hair was in a messy bun on top of my head.
