Chapter Fifteen

I've never in all my life felt like such a failure. Six hundred and twenty-seven years of living, seeing the sun set and raise a million times over, watching as the world changed and evolved, as mankind evolved. Wars were fought, some won some lost. I've seen kingdoms rise and fall. I was there for the many time that mother earth rosed to reclaim what was hers. Fire, flood, earthquake, wind, snow, sand, erupting volcanoes I was there for it all. I've been schooled several times over, fought wars that leveled towns and cities, and I've been in the company and the council of kings and queens. Built an empire and made billions.

To pass the time I read books after books and was well versed in many areas and spoke probably every known language to man but none of that seems to matter when it comes to her. All I've done, been doing when it comes to her is screw up.
