Arnav's words hung in the air like a challenge, leaving everyone stunned. "I will sacrifice myself for that girl, no matter the situation. I will take care of her, always."
The room fell silent, as if the very breath had been sucked out of it. Then, a figure emerged from the shadows Arnav's supposed fiancée, her eyes blazing with anger and hurt.
"Arnav, how could you?" she demanded, her voice trembling. "We're engaged. Don't you care about me?
Arnav's expression remained resolute, his voice unwavering. "I never loved you, Nisha. The moment I laid eyes on her, I knew she was the one. Even if she never wakes up, even if she spends her whole life asleep, I'll still care for her, still love her. I'll die with her, if need be."
My heart raced, pounding against my chest like a drum. I yearned to speak, to intervene, but the words caught in my throat.
The mysterious girl's voice cut through the tension, laced with venom. "That's why you always ignored me, isn't it? You're already married, living with her. You monster!"
Arnav's eyes flashed with anguish, his voice cracking with emotion. "No, I swear I didn't. I would never do that. I vowed to wait for her, to earn her love. If she rejects me, it means she rejects my very life. Her disapproval is my death. Had I betrayed her, I would have died long ago."
The girl's words cut deep, her tone laced with disdain. "Let's forget the past, shall we? You promised us that the beast would be slain within three years. Next month, the deadline arrives, and you would have emerged victorious, but now... You've sacrificed your cultivation for that girl. You could have reached the level of a king, but instead, you're still an Atiratha Yodha."
Her gaze pierced Arnav, accusation burning in her eyes. "How will you defeat the Atimaharathi Yodha, the beast that has ravaged our lands? You've wasted your potential on that... that..."
She spat the words, her anger and frustration palpable.
I felt a shiver run down my spine as I listened, my mind reeling with the implications. What levels were they talking about? Atiratha Yodha? Atimaharathi Yodha? The terms sounded like they belonged to a realm beyond my understanding.
Curiosity getting the better of me, I glanced at Arnav, trying to gauge his level. My eyes widened as I saw that he has open upto sixth chakra , pulsing with energy.
Arnav's voice remained calm, unwavering. "I know my duties, and I won't let her die. As for my promise, if I fall, my guru will come. You can claim whatever you desire from him, except for me. I never promised to marry you, Nisha. The rose I gave you was a mistake, not a token of affection."
The room fell silent once more, the tension thickening.
As I listened, my fingers inadvertently applied pressure to the door, causing it to creak. The sound echoed through the room, drawing everyone's attention to me.
I froze, my heart racing, as all eyes turned toward me. My face warmed with embarrassment.
"What... who are you?" Nisha's voice dripped with disdain, her gaze raking over me.
Arnav's eyes narrowed, his expression warning. "Wait, don't—"
The boy's words tumbled out in a rush, his eyes sparkling with excitement. "You finally woke up! Why didn't you say something? I would've come to help!"
I smiled, taken aback by his energetic demeanor. "I'm fine, thank you for caring. I appreciate your concern."
The boy's grin faltered, his expression turning serious. "No, no, it wasn't me. The villagers helped you. They gave you this house, food, and medicine. It was everyone's effort."
My eyes narrowed, a spark of irritation igniting within. How could he downplay Arnav's role? Didn't he know?
But I bit back my retort, choosing to maintain a neutral tone. "Thank you to everyone for their kindness. I'll never forget it."
Just then, a girl with an unsettling grin appeared, her eyes gleaming with malice. "Now that you're better, it's time to leave. Or... become beast food.
The boy's face darkened, his eyes flashing with anger. Soniyah, don't say that! We helped her, and she's our guest."
Her smile widened, revealing sharp teeth. "Guests don't overstay their welcome. She's been here for 3 year . It's time to pay the price."
As I see her teeth and try to focus on her enrgy I relaise she is little different than a human
But I soon replied , yeah and who are you to decide it
The girl's face turned beet red, her eyes blazing with fury. "You dare to question my authority? I am Soniyah, daughter of the village founder, and this village bears my family's name!"
I stood firm, my voice unwavering. "If this village is yours, why don't you offer yourself as food? Why sacrifice innocent lives?"
The room fell silent, the air thickening with tension.
Soniyah's expression twisted, her voice dropping to a snarl. "You bitch! You think you can manipulate them against me? I am the owner, and they respect me."
Suddenly, she began barking like a rabid dog, her body trembling with rage.
I raised an eyebrow, my tone calm. "Why so angry, Soniyah? I merely stated the obvious."
Soniyah's eyes flashed, her voice dripping venom. "You think you're clever, don't you? But you know nothing. That monster... it's been coming for years, ever since..."
She paused, her gaze darting around the room, as if fearful of being overheard.
"Ever since what?" I pressed, my curiosity piqued.
A boy replied from the back, "From three years ago, when you came." As he spoke, Soniyah moved towards that side, but until then, there was no boy there.
She spun around, her eyes narrowing. "What are you talking about?"
The boy stepped forward, his voice firm. "You know exactly what I mean, Soniyah."
I smiled, curiosity piqued. "Oh, do you hate me?" I asked, amusement dancing in my voice. "I was in a coma, I don't know what had happened until now but it sounded this all started after I comed and I am not from here so beast couldn't be for me but if you. Invite him. And that's why didn't even take action?"
Soniyah's face turned beet red with anger. "How dare you!" she spat.
The villagers shifted uncomfortably, exchanging nervous glances.
One of them spoke up, " does it is true
But she cut him off, her voice rising. "No,
I leaned forward, my eyes locked on Soniyah. "You're hiding something. What's going on in this village?"
In that I used a little skill of mine to interfere with someone mind
The boy intervened, his tone calm. "Let's not rush into anything. Soniyah, tell her the truth."
Soniyah's gaze darted between us, her expression twisting. "Fine. You want to know? My father made a pact with that beast. It demands sacrifices... and you're next."
The villagers gasped, shocked.
I felt a chill run down my spine. "What kind of pact?" I demanded.
Soniyah's eyes flashed with defiance. "That's none of your business."
And then, Soniyah's face contorted with rage maybe she realised what she had some
"You bitch, how dare you!" she spat, before running away.
A smile spread across my face, and everyone realized – or rather, confirmed – that she was the one. They were not shocked much but .
After she goes , the villagers dispersed, leaving me alone on the couch. The boy gazed at me, his personality shifting 180 degrees. A big smile adorned his face.
"How are you now ?" he asked, his eyes sparkling.
I am fine And yeah, thank you to heal me and save my life."
He stepped closer, his face inches from mine, and caught my hand.
"Dear, wouldn't I?" he whispered. "I loved you the moment I saw you. Just seeing you, my heart started beating again – a heart that had stopped beating for so long. My emotions, once dead, came alive. You become the flower, and I become the bee who wants you, honey."
My heart raced, my face burning red. I sat still, shocked, as he kissed me softly on the mouth. I couldn't resist, but he pulled back, smiling.
"Not today," he whispered. "We'll do it properly, when we love each other 100%. I might die, and I wouldn't want you to suffer."
I felt embarrassed, shocked. "You didn't need to..." I stammered.
"What's your level?" I asked, regaining composure. "You've opened your 6th chakra. How do you know about the Atirathi?"
The boy's eyes widened in shock. "You're not from this planet .. or even this galaxy, are you?"
"I'm not from here," I confirmed. "But where I am, I don't know. Maybe another galaxy, another solar system."
The boy nodded thoughtfully. "Let me explain the cultivation stages here. You seem to know about chakras."
He took a deep breath. "As one opens their chakras, each has a name:
1. Patu
2. Davanda
3. Vir
4. Rathi
5. Atirathi
6. Maharathi
7. Athi-Maharathi
Then come the stages of:
King
Great King
Supreme King
Supreme Emperor
Universal Emperor
There are more, but these are the basics.
