Chapter 80 - You're Not Going In?
In the sports field, a song suddenly played out.
The sound was loud enough to reach seventy or eighty percent of the school.
The place that was once full of laughter was now hell.
There, the zombies aimlessly dragged their bodies around.
When the song sounded, most of the wandering zombies instantly turned their heads toward the sound.
ROAR!
With chaotic footsteps, they dragged their bodies towards the sound.
The irregular movement seemed to be becoming flexible.
All the zombies on the ground moved toward the sports field.
The same was true for the zombies in the corridor.
After hearing the sound from the speaker, their heads turned towards the direction of the sports field.
It was just that these zombies were irrational.
They didn't know how to go downstairs. They only knew how to follow the sound.
In the corridor, there was no way to the sports field.
All were blocked by the wall or the railings of the corridor.
Some even died in this commotion.

Mahiro eliminated the zombies who rushed in.
'Looks like they have rushed to the sports field.'
Mahiro glanced at the system panel.
[Main Quest 2: Zombie Killer, 675/1000]
[676/1000]
[677/1000]
[678/1000]
[679/1000]
The number was still increasing, which surprised Mahiro for a moment.
"Hm!?"
Mahiro raised his eyebrows.
He had stopped killing zombies, but the number was still increasing.
Mahiro looked at the corridor leading to the sports field and understood why.
Many zombies heard the sound and crowded on the edge of the railing.
Then, they were pushed over the railing by the zombies rushing up from behind and fell directly to the ground.
These zombies were the reason why the number kept increasing.
[Death of zombies is related to the host.]
The system prompted.
"Thank god..."
Mahiro breathed a sigh of relief and walked into the broadcast room again.
"Saya, I'll take you back first."
"Won't they attack the broadcast room?" Saya asked.
"It shouldn't be. You can see for yourself."
Mahiro pointed to the corridor leading to the sports field.
Saya glanced around and found the scene terrifying, which sent shivers down her spine and covered her body in goosebumps.
"Let's move."
She couldn't help pulling Mahiro's sleeve.
"Okay."
Mahiro nodded, took Saya's hand directly, left the broadcast room, and walked towards the kendo club.
Saya blushed and obediently followed behind. She secretly glanced at Mahiro and noticed he didn't pay any attention to her.
She knew that Mahiro took her hand to make her feel more at ease, perhaps because of the fear she showed.
'Mahiro Toma'
She silently called out his name.
***
The two soon returned to the kendo club.
"I'll be leaving now; you can go in there."
Mahiro did not go in but urged Saya to enter.
While on the way to the kendo club with the group earlier, Mahiro had already taken care of most of the zombies, so there were few on this road or in the vicinity of the kendo club.
Compared with other places in the academy, it was much safer.
"You're not going in?"
Saya asked suspiciously.
"I have to go to the sports field and get rid of them."
Mahiro explained.
Those monsters had no thoughts.
They wanted to shred the source of the sound when they heard it.
Besides, so many zombies were heading towards the sports field.
If they accidentally destroyed the speakers, then the rest would scatter.
Mahiro didn't want his plan to go to waste.
So, he planned to go to the sports field immediately.
"Be careful yourself."
Saya said, and as if to clarify something, she continued again.
"Don't think that I'm worried about you."
"Besides... I haven't paid you back for the slap you owe me, so don't die, or I'll never forgive you!"
Saya raised her head arrogantly and looked directly at Mahiro.
Without waiting for his reply, she turned around, pushed open the door to the kendo club, and walked in.
Mahiro shook his head and sprinted towards the sports field.
Since he was the only one there, he could unleash his full power.
In the blink of an eye, Mahiro hurried to the edge of the sports field.
GRRR!
The sports field was full of zombies.
There were at least thousands.
After the outbreak, the students on the ground floor ran out first, but unfortunately, they were bitten by the infected students.
Therefore, there were more zombies downstairs than in the school building.
This was one of the reasons why so many zombies could gather in the sports field so quickly.
Seeing so many zombies, Mahiro didn't plan to go forward.
He decided to clear them all in one go.
With a single thought, the Red Dragon Emperor's Gauntlet [Boosted Gear] appeared in his hand.
"Boost!"
