DXD Part - 02

"Shiro please look at the device it is getting brighter and brighter." Minerva pointed Shiro's attention towards the display where the device was being shown. When Shiro looked at the display again he saw that the device was glowing. With every second passing it's brightness was increasing. At certain point it stopped increasing and rapidly shrank. And within a second it exploded outward. The main display which was showing the feed became white due to the bright light. Slowly the light died down. And in the display the device could not be seen.

Shiro looked at Minerva and asked her, "Minerva is there any traces of that device left?"

"So far the ship's scanner is not picking up anything. We will do a thorough scan of the surrounding area." Minerva replied to Shiro.

"Please do. That thing was a good lead for us about this world. Any way we probably already know where we are." Shiro was really disappointed after loosing the device as it could help him learn how those strange symbols and energy was working together. "Minerva can you please adjust the image and filter out all the unnecessary lights? I want to see what actually happened during the explosion." Shiro asked Minerva to adjust the image for further investigation.

"Affirmative." Within a few minutes Minerva came out with the finished product and played it on the display.

Shiro was watching the footage very attentively suddenly he noticed something just when the device shrank within a second. "Minerva can you slowdown the footage from the moment it started to shrink. Make it slow enough so that we can follow it."

"Affirmative." Minerva Did as Shiro instructed and slowed the video so that human eye can follow it normally.

"Stop. Rewind for a bit." As Shiro asked Minerva started to rewind the video. "Slow it down more and play it again." Shiro asked Minerva to slow down the video again.

This time when the video was playing everyone could clearly see that just before the device shrank multiple green revolving circles appeared all around it. It was as if the circles were compressing the device and then it exploded. Not that it mattered. Knowing this would not change anything for Shiro but never the less it was now confirm to him that those circles are probably magic circle or at least something similar.

"Sigh." Shiro gave out a long sigh and plopped himself down on the captain's chair. His eyes looked as if they lost all the life it had.

"Shiro what happened? Aren't you being a bit too over dramatic? You are acting as if it is the end of the world or something. What happened?" Arturia and Rin became concerned and asked Shiro.

"I am not being over dramatic or anything. If you knew what this world is like you would be like me too." Shiro looked at Arturia and Rin and gave a vague answer.

"Ahh Mou! Do not twist around your words. Can you not explain it clearly straightaway?" Rin started to become impatient and became mad.

"Explain." Arturia demanded an answer.

"OK." Shiro gave a tired laugh and continued. "Do you guys remember that I called this world a shitty game a while ago?" Shiro looked at the girls and asked.

""Yes. But why?" Both Arturia and Rin nodded and asked.

"If I am not wrong this world is the world of Highschool DXD. And this world has one of the most craziest, shittiest, stupidest overpowered characters and power system. And that is just one thing. Everything about this world is wrong in so many level. I do not even know where to start. And I did not even read all of the volumes. And I already feel it is hopeless." Shiro paused for a second and looked at both Arturia and Rin and asked "Now tell me do you guys still think I am over reacting?"
