Third term is finally here, we're finally going to finish this year and hopefully this class.

**first day**

"hey, Nick, first day, you've come ,huh" Elly said. "hey, Elly, sorry I didn't communicate in the holidays, it's just that so much has been on my mind." I said. "Is that the so much? " he said as he pointed towards Chania. "Maybe. " I replied "that's a story for another time though." "Man how were the holidays? " Nick asked.

"The way you mention holidays makes it sound like it was Christmas or something, anyways it was awesome I guess." I replied . "You guess, that's new of you" he replied. "Hope yours were better." I asked. " mine weren't that bad, I was just upping my game in soccer, and I took a martial arts class, it was weirdly nice." he replied. "What's wierd about martial arts, I have also been taking online fighting lessons. " I said. "Online fighting, you, Nick? I don't remember you being into fighting, wow, really girls can change people. " Nick replied.

"Hey guys." Kelly an Martha said as the were approaching us. "Hey" both Elly and I replied. "How have you been? " Martha asked. "Good " I replied. "Nice" Elly replied. " No doubt, Nick I can see the extra height and you're more cute than before, and you Elly, I can see the change, you look more manly now." Kelly said. "That compliment, is it for me or for Nick? " Elly asked. Kelly chuckled as she hugged us " I really missed you guys." she added.

"We missed you too." I replied. "Hi guys " Chania said as she walked towards us. "Hi " Elly replied as I moved out.I don't know what came over me, it's just that I don't do pretence. I mean the girl is all smiley towards us but she usually changes like the wind and I don't like that.

I see Nick and I really feel bad inside me, I didn't even bother calling him in the holidays, I know before the term ended we were not talking that much but he was still my friend and I have to admit that he looks cuter than before.

"Hi guys " I said as I approached Martha, Kelly, Elly and Nick. Elly replied but I didn't catch what he said, what I did catch though was Nick, he left immediately when I reached, I felt perplexed, 'cause this was the same guy whose eyes shined the moment he saw me, but now it was different.

"Did I say something wrong? " I asked them. "Don't worry about Nick, he said he had piano practice, he was actually making himself late when he was here. " Nick replied. " I guess I have to also check something's out, see you later guys." Elly said as he left. "Wow, that's new. " Martha said.

"What do you mean? " I asked. "Nick leaving immediately when he saw you, I genuinely thought the guy would immediately forget that all of us exist the moment he saw you but I was wrong I see now." Martha replied.
