Chapter Forty Nine & Fifty

"Long time no see, Evelyn Centrion", Someone said with a stern voice.

Gasps began to be heard as soon as the person came to light.

"Collins?!"

"Wasn't he dead?"

"Ain't he supposed to be dead?"

"Am I…dead?"

"C-Collins?", Eve asked with confusion. Was she seeing things now? How was he standing in front of her? Everyone was seeing him!

"In the flesh", Collins smiled.

"How are you-"

"Doing? Alive?", He asked and laughed.

"It's good to see you?", He asked and she stared at him.

"Well, it's good to see you too. It's such a pity that I missed some fun at the reunion. How could you lot not invite me? Were you afraid I might not show up? Or did you believe that I was…dead?", He gasped and began to laugh hysterically.

"Colli-"

"Let me speak, Centrion. Or should I say Princess Evelyn?", He bowed before her dramatically.

"You see, your boyfriend killed me in cold blood. And what did I do? Nah! Ask him what I did wrong because I don't remember doing something wrong. I was killed unfairly!", Collins yelled and punched the wall.

"And I was there thinking you would avenge me if you later get to know what happened to me but no! You didn't do that! Instead you would revenge the mother of that bastard! Ah! I heard his name was Tim", Collins announced.

"You won't go anywhere near him!", Eve was angry that he brought up Tim.

"What was her name? Jessica? Justina? John? Ah! Josephine!", He clicked his tongue and held Eve aggressively.

Eve began to have difficulty in breathing and began to choke.

"What's the matter, sweet Evelyn? It seems like Josephine is calling you. You should be a nice friend and pick up her call. Who knows? You might skip hell and make it to heaven", He continued to hold her till she became black and static.

"Eve!!!", Lex roared and began to run to catch her. He looked at Collins in anger and furrowed his brows.

"What's happening to me? I'm so-so c-cold", Collins began to grit his teeth and rub his hands on his body.

"I'm fucking cold! What's with the fucking walls?!!", He asked and soon turned into an ice statue.

"Fight it, my love", Lex stroked Eve's hair and whispered.

The walls of Hawaii soon began to freeze with ice. They were getting blue and looking deserted.

*MeanWhile*

"I saw your statement baby. I'm so happy. My friend knows I work with you so she was the one that showed me the post. Well, I might have run my mouth and told her I was the girlfriend", Indigo blushed and held his hand tighter.

"That's fine. Everyone in my family knows about us too", Raphael kissed her temple.

"Really?", Indigo asked with excitement.

"Yeah. My mum wants to meet you soon. My sister can't wait to meet you too", Raphael smiled.

"That's true. Your sister. What's she like? I've been seeing her in the papers. She's so pretty and all but I want to see her so much", Indigo shrieked with excitement.

"Oh my sister? She's nice and all but she's also crazy. She likes cute stuff and likes a boy but playing hard to get. She's more like you. You too are gonna be friends with Yoona", Raphael said.

"Yoona? I met her then, right?! That lady with Alexis at Paris for your concert", Indigo jumped on him with happiness.

"How do you remember all this stuff?", Raphael was surprised.

"Us girls are so chill!", Indigo said proudly.

"Us girls?", Raphael scoffed. "What about donkey girls?"

"What?", Indigo scoffed. "Don't tell me you're jealous, right now?"

"Nothing a kiss can't solve", Raphael stopped walking and began to lean in.

"I'm not gonna kiss you until you confess about being jealous", Indigo teased him. She was alarmed when he held his chest.

"What's wrong?", She asked him.

"I-I feel-"

"What?", Indigo let him lean on her.

"They need me", He said and held her hand tighter.

"Who needs you?", Indigo was confused. Are his ancestors calling him already?

"No, it's not your time yet. Don't go, Raphael. We have to get married", Indigo began to cry.

"Wait! Is this about the kiss? I love you", She began to kiss him all over his face but he disappeared as soon as five kisses were placed all over his face.

Indigo felt her world spinning and collapsed on the floor. Did Raphael just disappear right before her eyes? Was she now so ill for her to see thing?

Palace Of Azariah

"…the people are becoming lazy to plant their crops again. They would say something and change their minds. I think you're becoming too generous with them by lowering the cost of food, my king"

"You've also allowed the men to return to their wives for a month now. I think it's high time they returned to the palace"

"We don't want little ones to take over the population of this kingdom next year", Another chief said and Jamal coughed.

"I did the right thing", Jamal said and few nodded with him.

"We should have some of the chiefs that suggested this ideas to be added to the troops, don't you think so, chief Elijah?", Jamal asked his advisor.

"Yes, my king. These chiefs know nothing of pain and happiness with family. I think they need to be added to the troops so they can be away from their wives and children for some minutes before they can be united with them. Of course, after they pass through the ordeal of endless sufferings, hunger, anger, poverty in the wilderness and depression for endless days", Chief Elijah said.

The chiefs that were reporting to Jamal about the kingdom began to apologize one after the other immediately.

"Forgive me, my king. I didn't know that was what was happening", The chiefs chorused and apologized.

"Have mercy on us", They bowed their heads.

"It's fine. Allowing our people to relax and be happy with their family does not give anyone pain or sorrow. Our kingdom is at peace and there is no war going on. The children are happy and there is bountiful food. The beggars can't afford a two square meals before but beggars are already building houses now", Jamal joked and the people laughed.

"That's it. We should all lighten the atmos-"

Few of the chiefs began to faint one after the other as the throne turned empty. The ones that were still conscious began to go in all directions to gossip.

Those that fainted were soon revived and were still shocked from the action they saw. They own king disappeared from his throne while talking to them.

Were their enemies at work again because they were celebrating their peace?

"Long life King Jamal!", They raised their voice and began to cry for him.

Queen Rose and Lady Elizabeth stared at each other in hatred. Queen Rose took off her bravely and let her power get hold of her to deal with the wrench as best as she could.

Unfortunately, Lady Elizabeth has already began to transfer her soul into Tim's body so that when they kill her, she would take over his body.

"You're too late, Queen Rose", Lady Elizabeth laughed.

Lex dropped Mr Salvatore's dead body on the ground and watched it burn to ashes.

"Killed you twice, bastard", He muttered and ran to meet Eve who was struggling to defeat Collins in spirit.

Collins has managed to corrupt her heart and the darkness was taking control of her gradually.

"There's nothing you can do to save her, Lex", Collins said to Lex.

"But I can send you to your home since you lost your way", Lex said.

"That's right. I never had a real fight with you but here you are. Let's have a real fight!", Collins sneered.

"Yeah. I'm gonna kick your ass", Lex said dryly.

"Ahhh!!!", Collins charged at him and became to appear and disappear with black smoke emitting from his body.

"I had always hated demons. So I'm just gonna finish you for the sake of the earth", Lex closed his eyes and raised his left index finger and middle finger up.

His right index and middle finger were slanted as he revealed a gold sword.

Collins became surprised when he saw that. He doesn't want to admit the kind of power Lex has but he could defeat him.

"You would be a fool to continue fighting me", Lex said and charged at Collins with his sword.

"A slash of this on you would send you back to wherever you crept out from", Lex continued.

"Well, that's the fake 'doom' sword. There's no way the ancients would pass that sword on to you", Collins said angrily and tried to hold Lex but he pushed him back with his sword.

"You bastard!!", Collins screamed as the hot burning was hearing him up from the inside.

How the hell?!

Was he going back?!

That can't happen yet to him. He has not yet confirmed the death of anyone he wished to kill. Not even Evelyn.

"Goodbye, Collins", Lex said with a long hiss.

"You didn't give us a chance to talk brother", Caro sat on the floor with heavy breath.

Lex looked at the dead body of Queen Keelin and was proud of his sister.

"Are you that lazy?", He teased her.

"How's she?", Caro ignored him and looked at Eve. The blackness of her skin was beginning to fade.

"She's fine but still cold", Lex cupped her face. Her body was freezing in his arms and her hair and face and lips were so chapped.

"L-Lex", Eve called softly and opened her eyes slowly.

"Baby", Lex held her delicately and squeezed her palm.

"I'm-I'm so c-cold", She stammered and held his hand.

"And you're so warm", She smiled.

"Are you okay?", He asked and she nodded.

"You're so hot", She said and he laughed. How could she she saying that now? Doesn't she like herself anymore? Given the situation of things, that's the first thing that comes out of her mouth when she saw him.

"Why are you laughing?", She pouted.

"You should rest", He said and kissed her forehead.

"Thanks for killing Collins. He wasn't himself", She said softly.

"He never was. He's a demon", Lex said and she nodded.

"I love you", Eve confessed and brought his hand to her lips.

Lex looked at her as she kissed his knuckles softly. He was suspicious. What's with the PDA? That was not Evelyn. Does she think she…?

No, she's not!

She's not gonna die!!

Not anytime soon!!!

"I've always loved you", She continued to speak and began to shut her eyes.

"Hey wake up", Lex patted her cheeks.

"Move Lex. That witch is stealing life from her and Tim", Queen Rose dragged Elizabeth's body and placed Eve and Tim opposite each other with Lady Elizabeth in the middle.

She had drawn a big circle with salt and kept the three in it. She had gotten their blood too and had two bowls in it.

"What are you doing mom?", Lex asked.

"This is the time to be really proud of your mother, Alexius", Queen Rose smiled and Caro smiled wider.

She was the biggest fan of her mother.

The greatest!

Queen Rose held her son and daughter's hands to draw power as she began to cast a powerful spell to keep their souls intact.

"El zepo rahum sel…"

"No, you won't kill me", Alexis barged into the room with his eyes bloodshot.

'Can today get any better?', Caro rolled her eyes.

Penny and Lovelyn exchanged glanced as they looked into the glass to see Lady Elizabeth.

First, they saw Collins who came back from the day.

Now, they were seeing Lady Elizabeth in Alexis?

"Watch out!", They screamed as a ball of fire went in their way.

"I love you", They muttered to one another and ran to stop Lady Elizabeth. Alexis threw them off the wall as they approached him.

Queen Mary nodded at her sons that looked at her. Raphael opened his palms and a blue fire came out of his hands. His body was emitting fire and he dashed at Alexis like a ball without warning.

A white rope came out of Jamal's left hand and he whipped it on Alexis and used it to tie him down. Queen Mary's eyes and hair went all blue as she began to turn him to solid ice block too.

Penny and Benny held each other's hands and screamed into Alexis' ears. Lovelyn stared at them all and thought she was watching a supernatural movie.

"Mother!!", Caro screamed because she was feeling weak.
