The new companion

Though the trees, there was a lot of things too see. In one part of a forest you could see a village in a clearing being raided by bandits, in another you could see a lone house surrounded by rotting trees and dead grass. Now back to a different area of the forest. In this part of said part of the forest is a boy half laying and half sitting on the ground looking towards the area of the forest the village is being raided.

Previously before the boy was looking in that direction he was being carried by a girl that lived in that village. When the village started getting raided the boy had woken up and looked around and heard the sounds. Then the girl carrying heard those sounds too and ran in the direction of the village.

Now that the boy was all alone, after a few seconds the bow got distracted. What he was distracted by was a lizard. The thing about this lizard is that if anyone else was around no one would be able too see it. As it turned out the boy seemed too be able too see through the fact that the lizard was invisible too others. The whole time that the boy was staring at the lizard the lizard stayed still like it was afraid. Before the boy had spotted the lizard the lizard had already stopped moving when the girl was walking through.

Looking at the lizard now the boy couldn't help but want too touch it. Crawling forward the boy had reached the lizard. In a crawling position near the lizard, luzard was within reach of the boy and the lizard still hadn't moved. Reaching forward the boy finally touched the lizard. Feeling the tiny scales that weren't rough the boy had a look of interest subconsciously plastered on his face.

The lizard at this point had actually calmed down, this was because the lizard could feel that the boy had no interest in eating it or killing it. The lizard had seen an old wrinkly human that would kill animals, and it had seen others small critters being eaten by predators. The lizatd being more relaxed finally moved. The surprising thing though is that the lizard actually moved towards the closest hand of the boy. Reaching the hand the lizard kept moving forward and actually crawled up the boys hand to his upper arm and then past that and into his hair.

It seems the boy has a new companion now.
