Chapter 11

Stacy sobbed as she walked back home. She couldn't believe what she had gone through in Mrs. Wong's house.

The whole cleansing ritual had been a frightening experience and one that would keep coming back to her for the rest of her life. Stacy felt what scared her most of all was the revelation of unclean spirits possessing her without her knowing.

She felt an intense desire to hug her mom all of a sudden. In the heat of the moment, she felt isolated and alone.

Her Mom, she knew, had not really gotten over the trauma of the accident all those years ago. Stacy could still see the fear of being involved in a terrible crash like that wash over her lovely face as she was relating the incident to her the other day.

She wondered what her Mom would think if she learned that a medium's consultation assisted in the trauma that had besieged Stacy the past few months. No one would ever guess that that was what it would take to relieve her of her malady.
