Endless tears

Darkness filled with frights

Suffocating from fears

Tiny voices echoing the mind

Whispering, shushing, cackling with laughter

Like a parasite of its kind

Leeching off someone, they tend to alter

Alter the mind and drag them deep

Deep down the cold abyss

As one struggled to leap

Leap further and discover peace

Soon after moments of perseverance

One saw a hint of light

A weak heart is no more a hindrance

As one climbed higher with all their might

Brightness once again was seen

Showering ones self with adrenaline

How long have it been?

The sun was hot and the meadows are green.
