Hibiki and her fellow Kanmusu were on patrol in the Central Western Sea when Akatsuki approached her with a worried look on her face.
"Hibiki, we have a problem," Akatsuki said.
"What is it?" Hibiki asked, sensing the urgency in Akatsuki's tone.
"The communication between Home Port and the major bases in the Central Sea and South Sea has been cut off," Akatsuki explained. "We haven't been able to get any updates or messages from them for several hours now."
Hibiki frowned. "That's not good. Do we have any idea what's causing the communication blackout?"
"We're not sure," Akatsuki admitted. "It could be a malfunction in the equipment, or it could be something more sinister."
Hibiki nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. "Alright, we need to investigate this. Let's head towards the Central Sea and see if we can find out what's going on."
The Kanmusu quickly changed course and made their way towards the Central Sea, keeping their senses sharp for any signs of trouble. As they approached the area, they noticed a strange energy disturbance on their radar.
"What is that?" Hibiki asked, pointing at the reading on the screen.
"It looks like some kind of interference," Akatsuki replied. "It's blocking our communication signals."
Hibiki scowled. "Whatever it is, it's definitely not natural. We need to investigate this further."
The Kanmusu dived deeper into the sea, following the source of the energy disturbance. As they approached, they saw a group of enemy ships surrounding a large device that was emitting the interference.
"It's the Abyssal fleet!" Hibiki exclaimed. "They're responsible for the communication blackout!"
Without hesitation, the Kanmusu engaged the enemy, determined to destroy the device and restore communication with Home Port and the other major bases. The battle was fierce, but in the end, the Kanmusu emerged victorious.
With the device destroyed and the Abyssal fleet defeated, communication was restored to the Central Sea and South Sea bases.
"Good work, everyone," Hibiki said, relieved that the crisis had been averted. "We've done our duty to protect our home and our allies."
The Kanmusu cheered in agreement, proud to have served their country and their people. As they made their way back to Home Port, they knew that there would be more challenges and battles to come, but they were ready for whatever lay ahead.
