The Characters

The students started to introduce theirselves in front. Arielle got irritated by the way Alain introduced himself.

"I know you already know me, so there's no reason for me to introduce myself." he said.

Well Alain, or Alain Emmanuel Austria is the son of the school director of Halo International. He is 20 years old and a member of the volleyball team.

After Alain, Edrien stood up in front to introduce himself. Edrien, or Mark Edrien Inoncillo is Alain's bestfriend. He is also 20 years old and a member of the school's basketball team.

Diether confidently introduce himself. Diether, or Diether Gabriel Alcantara, is 21 years old and a swimmer. That's why he has a great bod and he is also a model.

And since it is just a course orientation, the classes were dismissed early and the students are leaving the school.

Arielle hurriedly went home where he live with his younger brother. He is living in a small apartment not much far from Halo.

"Adrian, I'm home! I brought you some snacks!" Arielle said when he got home. A young boy run towards him and hug him tight.

"I missed you, Kuya" Adrian said. Arielle notice Adrian's hand holding something.

"Hey, why are you holding a broom? Are you cleaning the house?"

Adrian nodded as a response. He knew that his older brother will be mad about it.

Arielle sigh and leans down. He calmly talk to his younger brother.

"Adrian, how many times do I need to remind you, I can do that by myself. You don't have to do this, it is not good for your health."

Adrian nodded. He know and understand what Arielle is talking about. He has a heart disease and he knew about it.

"Okay good. Now let's eat because I later I need to work in the shop."

Arielle, or Arielle Aquino is the older brother of Adrian Aquino. He is 20 years old and a scholar in the school where he transferred to, which is owned by Alain's family. Alain don't knew about Arielle being their scholar and the same goes for Arielle doesn't know that Alain is the son of the school's director.

Arielle is working in Cafe Principé, a famous coffee shop near the school. He's been working there for about 2 months already. He's working for their living, since their parents died many years ago.

"HAHHAHHAHAHAH! the room is filled with laughter as Edrien share what happened a while ago. Its been 7pm and they were all in the living room. Edrien, Diether, Alain, together with two more guys are living in the same house. Since the beginning of college, they are living together. They bought the house for theirselves so that they can live together.

"Really? I can't believe that he can do that to Alain. Knowing Alain, the students of Halo are very much afraid of him." Diether laughs out loud.

"Will you please shut up your mouth or you will sleep outside the house." Alain replied while using his phone.

"Okay hahahaha. I just can't believe that Arielle can do that to you. He's a nice person in fact, and I am wondering why you're always mad when talking about him"

"You already know why. And I don't want to be like you, making friends with anyone, dating anyone around." Alain sarcastically said.

"Don't be such that harsh bro hahaha"

"And why are laughing there Edrien?" Alain notice that Edrien is laughing at them.

"Nothing for you to worry about hahaha"

Alain stood up, going upstairs to his room, when suddenly KC came. KC, or Kean Christian Evangelista, is a 22 year-old basketball player in Halo. He's good at sports and got multiple awards in different competitions. He's the owner of the coffee shop where Arielle is working, and Alain, Diether, Edrien and one more guy are the co-owners of the shop.

"Hey, why are you so happy today? Is there something I need to know?" Alain said while holding a box.

"Hey, Is that a cake?" Diether gets the box of cake from KC. Among the boys, he's the most addicted to sweets.

"Don't mind those jerks." Alain said calmly.

"Hey, it's been a long time since you've take home a dessert from the shop. Are you sure this is edible?"

Diether laughs. A few months ago, their past baker went to work drunk and accidentally puts iodized salt in the mixture thinking it is sugar. And all the baked cakes that time turned into a disaster. Now that they have a new baker, Diether is hoping that the one KC brought home tastes good.

"Of course! That cake was made by my new baker. And he's the best baker we ever had. I'm sure, you'll gonna love that one." Diether excitedly went to the kitchen.

"He? Your new baker is a guy?" Edrien ask.

"It doesn't matter if the baker is a man or a woman, as long as he or she can do magic." KC replied. Diether came back holding a plate with four slices of cake.

"I'm going upstairs. Just make sure that you will not eat all the cake or I will tell my dad to suspend you." Alain said before going up to his room.

"Hey, what's the matter with Alain?" KC asked.

"Don't mind him. Don't you remember? He's been like that since forever hahaha" Diether answered while eating cake.

"He's facing a problem right now. He's got into a war with a Goddess hahahaha" Edrien responded.

"Speaking of problem, our baker is currently experiencing a problem right now. Actually, before going home, I went to the hospital to visit him and his brother who have a heart disease."

"I feel sad for him. Where are their parents?" Diether added.

"They're already dead. And in fact, the reason why he is working is for their living, plus he's also working for their schooling. He's one of the scholars of Halo."

"Really? He's studying at Halo? Maybe we can help him." Diether added. One good thing about Diether, is that even he's a playboy, he's very loving and kind.

"What's his name?"

"He's A- -" Christian pause for a while because of Bernard. He just came and he's also living there. He's Bernard James Sevilla, 20 years old and a member of Halo's volleyball team just like Alain. He's KC's bestfriend.

"Hey why do you look like a broken-hearted kid?"

"Lemme guess! You and Christine fight about a nonsense thing again? Hahahahah" Diether said. Bernard did not answer, because Diether is right. They argue again. Christine is Bernard's girlfriend.

"Cheer up man! Why don't you find another girl out there? Looks like you're not that "perfect couple" you were before. By the way, here. Eat this cake to lighten up your mood hahaha"

"Give me that! I will now go to my room, and please. Don't disturb me. I'm not in the mood." Bernard said and go upstairs.

"Maybe, I'll go to my room too to change." KC added.

"Me too, let's go"
