ed and his encounter with chaos

it was night right now jay was keeping watch they found a place to stay the night. he hopes that everyone is alright and no one has died except ed he mostly hopes he dies he's a asshole well that is what jay thinks. turning behind he sees alisha waking up from her sleep.

jay:"perfect timing your turn to keep watch"

alisha:"what why i just woke up give me a few minutes"

jay:"it's the least you can do since i saved you now hurry up I'm getting sleepy" alisha looks at jay annoyed but complies and just like that they swap places alisha looks into the sky. 'i miss you ed' she thought

WITH ED:

ed was killing monsters with his axe left right and centre. he didn't hide himself it was the cowards way of doing things well that's what he thinks. right now he a bunch of fire wolfs but looking to his side he could see some goblins he was in trouble or that's what it seems.

ed finishes of the last wolf looking over to see a small goblin army of around 50 usually they are physically weaker than humans but in a group can be a nightmare to deal with even for skilled warriors.

ed:"well well well look at me I'm so lucky" ed was excited he was a bit of a battle junkie right now he gets to fight 50 goblins. arrows from afar aim towards ed by the goblins ed wasn't prepared he did block some of them but they did weaken him a but it shouldn't of to the extent that it did.

'is this poison' ed thought.

ed:"you bastards how dare you I'll muder you all" he rushes at the goblins that charged at him already killing a couple on his way. it was havoc ed was being stabbed at just about everywhere but he didn't care he loved it he enjoyed the thrill of battle a little to much sometimes. more arrows head towards him he blocks them by picking up a goblin and using it to block the arrows he also chucked it at some of the other goblins.

ed:"good good just a few more to go" ed had a sadistic smile on his face yes he was truly living the life one thing he didn't know was the mysterious figure watching him. 'interesting i think I'll make the offer to him and he's a hero to even better' the figure thought.

5 MINUTES LATER:

ed was done with almost all the goblins all that were left were the arrow men he rushed towards albeit covered in goblin blood he was to far to attack. ed throws his axe at one of them killing them instantly and with wind magic called his axe back now in front of the goblins ed said something that sent chills down their spine.

ed:"i wanna axe you a question" yes how bone chilling (not really) somehow this scared the goblins ed wasn't smart at making up puns he was stupid as you can tell but that didn't stop him from massacre in them.

ed was qite tried he has been fighting all day he wanted to rest he walks over the corpses of goblins on the ground after a few minutes does ed fell something he hasn't felt since he met askeladd fear of DEATH.

jumping from the sky a figure landed on the ground in front of ed surprising him he didn't know who this was but it was someone dangerous he knew even if he was at full power ed couldn't beat him. (u.f= unknown figure)

u.f:"so mr hero by the looks of it you want power correct to take control of everything to kill anyone in your way you should join us as the strongest what do you say" ed ponders for a minute he wants power true put at what cost the figure smiles he knows he has won.

ed:"what's the catch to this"

u.f:"one of your freinds must die by your hands it's up to you who you want it to be"

ed:"i see but what group would i join" the unknown figure opens it's eyed to revel yellow pupils and black iris. this was a person of chaos but ed didn't know.

ed"ok I'll consider but show me this power" ed disappears and reappears in front of the figgure and attempts to slash him with his axe it fails because the figure punches ed sending him flying he is badly injured. 'how can that one punch be so powerful' he thought he stands with struggle.

all of a sudden the the figure appears in front of ed faster than he could see in response ed trys to slash his axe at him only for him to keep dodging he adds magic to his attacks only for them to fail this kept going until the figure gut punched ed making him puke up blood everywhere.

u.f:"you see now join us and you can have this power"

ed:"fine you win i will"

u.f:"good boy now sleep you will be one of us when the time is right" and just like that the figure steps on Ed's head knocking him out the figure disappears into the night.

NEXT DAY MIDDAY:

everyone was back to where they started ed looked the worst out of everyone.

alisha:"omg ed what happend" alisha was panicked by hiw damage ed was his face bruise all over him and blood to. jay looks around to see of james and Emily were ok they were james having a few cuts and Emily just looking tired. 'well at least they are alright' jay thought

james:"alright let's head back to the kingdom" and just like that everyone heads back to the kingdom to relax and rest accept for ed who kept having flashbacks to what happend last night.

alisha:"hey ed your spacing out are you alright"

ed:"yeah shut up i have a headache" alisha nods with understanding and just like that the heroes first adventurer was over.
