The dwarven lab and their little secrets!

Leviathan pressed the sharp edge of the moon blade at the frightened dwarf.

"Mhmmm." He was trying to say something but cannot since Leviathan was using his power on him.

It was not the right time to release the power, as he had something to say.

"I've already killed both your colleagues and the guard at the entrance. You know I'm infinitely more powerful than any of you here. I can end your life any time I want, but I won't do it. You know why? Cause you're going to help me out here." Leviathan reached out and grabbed the alarming device from the frightened dwarf.

He also used his power to collect the other two alarming devices from the corpses beside him, and he also stored them on his system inventory.

[Wow! You sound like a petty villain right now, so cliche.] The system mocked him.

'...'

Alexy was terrified seeing the large hands that grabbed the alarming device from him. He was rather a short dwarf with height only reaching 3ft. Alexy never has seen an alive human in real life but has learned about them in lab and other documents. But it didn't register to him that the guy in question was a human, since it was practically impossible for them to infiltrate here. He thought it must be demons' hands that were gripping on him.

"Alright Alexy, talk." Leviathan loosened his power in the little dwarf's mouth.

"W-who are you? Wh-what the fuck do you want? How do y-you even got here, demon? Wha--" His mouth again was forced shut.

"If you wanna live, then stop whining. You can either cooperate or can die here." Leviathan threatened him again and released the hold on his mouth.

"...what do you want?" This time the timid dwarf was more calmer. He knew he would be dead if he says anymore nonsense.

"Thats better! So, you ready to cooperate now?" He smiled, seeing the willingness of the poor dwarf.

[It's not willingness, dumbass! It's fear. Congratulations! You're officially a villain in someone's story.]

'Like the great being said -we all are villains in someone's story,' He mused himself.

"What is that you want me to do? Just leave me alone." Alexy pleaded.

"Alright son, why don't you start with this?" He exuberantly gestured at the tunnel through Alexy's shoulder.

"..."

"Well, if that is what you want, then I guess I can give it to you." Seeing Alexy's hesitation, he drew his blade back and thrusted it downwards.

"W-wait! Don't kill me! I will speak!" He cried out loud. In the face of death, Alexy chose his life over the organisation he was working for.

The blade stopped just inches away from Alexy's chest.

"Oh? Will you now?" Leviathan asked in a crazed voice. It sent shivers down the poor dwarf's spine.

"Ye-yes. Whatever you want, just ask me." He frantically said.

"Alright. Talk."

Alexy started to recall all the information he knows about the organisation. He basically blurted out all the information he knew without omitting anything. Not just that, he also told about the security around the tunnel.

So it turns out this tunnel was the last wing of a secret organisation within the dwarven community. They are called the 'Legions.' They are basically the villain organisation of the dwarves, just like the villain organisation of the humans.

The tunnel spirals out to 18 wings in total. Each of the wings having its own leaders who are under the Supreme leader of the Legions.

This tunnel was in the construction stage, so the personnels working here are low. Most of them are construction workers. All the important figures are deep inside the tunnel. Turns out even though this end is the entrance, it won't be considered an entrance until it is completely constructed.

This tunnel was the last one to build. It was supposed to be the pillar in the human world. They just started building it about a week ago and they were already far ahead. Leviathan was truly astonished with the craftmanship of the dwarves. Their efficiency and architects were truly out of the world.

'Ha, all of a sudden I don't feel bad at all. I mean, I just infiltrated the dwarven villain group. Only a hero can do that, right shithead?' He started to gloat about his finding.

[You just started a massacre even before knowing about them. You were just killing them because you wanted to. It was not because of any noble reasons or anything, but because of pure ecstasy and madness. Then finally you got a piece of information that they are the bad guys and look at you... enjoying it.]

'...I knew they were bad peoples, fuck you.'

"Thank you Alexy. Now tell me about this prisoner?"

"...Err... Th-the prisoner? Wh-what are you talking about?" He played it innocent, which, of course, didn't sit well with Leviathan. He pressed the blade a little more, enough to draw a streak of blood from the frightened dwarf's chest.

"Uh...we keep her in the section B."

"Oh? And where is this section B?" Leviathan spoke with a craziness in his voice. It was not a fake one, nor he was acting crazy. He was genuinely getting crazed around blood.

Alexy pointed his little finger at the large locked doors in front of them.

"You gonna open it, right Alexy?"

Alexy nodded and proceeded to take out his key card. They moved to the card reader. Alexy swiped his cards and the card reader beeped. Leviathan snatched the card from him while the large lock opened to both the sides.

The lock opened to another door at the end. Which, of course, was locked.

They moved to the other door and Leviathan swiped the key cards at the card reader, only to open another device just below his chest.

It looked like a retina scanner.

He nudged Alexy to move along. The little dwarf obliged and scanned his eyes on the retina scanner. Again with a beep, the door slid open. Revealing a huge laboratory. The lab was huge enough to occupy 4 Bluek Hylarks.

There were many desks and notes and other weird stuffs in the room just like any other labs, but only larger and more weirdly. Perhaps the most noticeable object was the various glass domes of different sizes on the side of the lab.

The glass dome was filled with waters, perhaps preservatives for preserving whatever that is inside it.

He moved towards the various glass domes, only to be astonished more and more.

"...What are they?" He was speechless seeing the various life forms. There were slightly larger mosquitos and humans to 4 foot large empty glass domes.

"They are experimental subjects." Alexy spoke solemnly. He, too, only saw them after joining here. He was not particularly happy about it, but did enjoy the brief time he had experimented on them.

One of the striking glass dome was of a being with horns and long nails and wings who had a complete black body. They were too thin, their fangs were visible. They were cruel and bleak.

"...What is that?" Leviathan asked with an excited heartbeat.

"Oh? They? They are the cruelest and most vicious creatures among the other countless races, perhaps even crueler than the humans themselves..." The little dwarf took a deep breath seeing the cruel being's face.

"That is a body belonging to a demon."
